Beauty & the Beast

The woman riding the beast in Revelation 17 goes by several names, two of which are Jezebel and Mystery Babylon.  She is known for many carnal attributes, but primarily for her sexual whoredom.  Like all God’s truth, there exists both a natural and spiritual explanation of her whoredom.  We see the outworking of her natural sexual practices all around us today.  Every sexual abomination imaginable suddenly came out of the closet in my generation.  Not only did it make itself known, but it demands that everyone else accept it and propagandize it as normal.

Have you ever considered why the medical establishment even thought of “sex change” operations?  Where in the world did this abominable idea even come from?  And, why is it always news when a “man,” that is, a woman who has been made to look like a man through medical procedures, becomes pregnant?  It’s just a woman getting pregnant!  The real purpose for the news is far more sinister of course.  Our perverted medical establishment really does want to somehow create false wombs which allow genetically true men to carry babies, i.e., “get pregnant.”  Yes, it’s disgusting, but this is Mystery Babylon in action.

Spiritually, though, Mystery Babylon represents harlot religion.  Jezebel exists through the fornication of good with evil, truth with falsehood.  This explains why every religion in the world contains some truth.  Through his prophets God repeatedly chastized Israel for harlotry.  He rebuked them because they were his people who knew the truth, yet they insisted on participating in the idolatrous and demonic practices of the surrounding nations.  King Solomon stands out as the preeminent example of this.

Thus Solomon serves as a type of Mystery Babylon.  Remember, the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was 666 talents of gold and 666 is the number of the beast!  See 1 Kings 10:14, 2 Chronicles 9:13, and Revelation 13:18.  Solomon was son of the one king described as being after God’s own heart, King David.  David bestowed upon him a kingdom of royal splendor and God’s Law.  God himself blessed him with wisdom beyond any man.  Yet, what is Solomon known for?  His sexuality since he had 700 wives and 300 concubines, his vast wealth, and his idolatry.  The description of Solomon’s kingdom clearly matches the angel’s description of Babylon the Great in Revelation 17-18.  Solomon’s sins caused Israel to split into two kingdoms, the south called Judah and the north still called Israel.

We have briefly seen already that the beasts of the books of Daniel and Revelation represent man’s governments empowered by Satan.  How is the woman related to the beast?  Like Solomon over all Israel and Jezebel in Ahab’s kingdom, Mystery Babylon rides the reigns of governmental power.  Throughout history false religion controlled government.  Look around the world even today.  Hindus control India and Muslims dominate Pakistan, the Arab countries, Persia, and others.  Communism, another religion, controls China and some other nations.  Christianity used to ride over the western nations.  Now secular democracy does, but, at least in the United States the government had to bow to Christianity, that is, until now.  Of course, United States Christianity is and has been corrupt for centuries, like all false religions.  And, akin to all others, she rode the beast when she could.

So, the time is now at hand when the beast will turn upon his master, the harlot religions which have always controlled him.  We see this already beginning and it is just one more sign that God is about to establish his kingdom!  So, do not fret as you see the world crumble around you.  This is God’s plan.  God uses the beast to chastise the woman Jezebel for her harlotry.  “Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.”  (Revelation 18:20 KJV)  Before you can rejoice, though, you have to come out of her.  Thus, says the angel, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4 KJV)
