Revelation 18:1

After these things, I saw another angel coming down out of heaven, having great authority; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

After these things, I saw another angel (Jesus) 

Hebrews 2:7; You made him for a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor.

coming down out of heaven,  (NOTE: Revelation 10:1; 20:1;)

Genesis 11:5;

And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, (OF BABEL, Lofty thinking, Pride. Confusion) which the children of men built.

God so loved the world that He cut off and emptied Himself from power and came down to Earth, to bring salvation and restoration, as an example to show us exactly how to be restored to the Father.

Daniel 9:26; 

 And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;

Philippians 2:6-9;

Who, although, existing in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped. :7 But emptied Himself, (Of Grace) taking the form of a bond-servant, being made in the likeness of men; He had to Practice Righteousness, relying on the Father, just as we, rely on Jesus. (NOTE: Revelation 8:10) :8 And being found in the appearance as a man, He humbled (Obedience) Himself, by becoming obedient [even] to death, yes even, the death of the cross.

having great authority;

Philippians 2:9;

For this reason, God  (The Father) highly exalted Him, and gave to Him the name which is above every name;

Matthew 7:29;

For He taught them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.

and the earth was illumined (The Light of God)  with His glory.

Isaiah 6:3;

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory.

This is the realization that, 

IT IS FINISHED John 19:30;

When we realize our brokenness and see our need to be crucified with Christ, then we become a new creature. It is no longer we who live, but Christ lives His life through us. This is when we understand the finished work of the cross in our own lives.

Galatians 2:20;

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that [life] which I now live in the flesh I live by faith, in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

Revelation 18:2

And He cried with a mighty voice, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and is become a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird.

And He cried with a mighty voice, saying, Fallen, (From Grace) 

fallen is Babylon the great, and has become a

dwelling place of demons  (UnGodly, unrighteous thinking)

Acts 7:48;

Howbeit the Most High does not dwell in houses made with hands; as said the prophet, :49 The heaven is My throne, And the earth the footstool of My feet: What manner of house will you build Me? says the Lord: Or what is the place of my rest? :50 Did not My hand make all these things?

Leviticus 17:7;

And they shall no longer sacrifice their sacrifices to the demons with which they play the harlot. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.

and a hold of every unclean spirit, (An unclean spirit is a person not Practicing Righteousness and therefore not cleansed by the blood of Jesus) and a hold of every unclean (Still in Darkness, not walking in the Light) and hateful (Not Loving; Not obedient to God)

bird. (Vultures, etc. Birds that eat flesh; Eats of carnal thinking, not spiritual nourishment) (Note: Revelation 19:21.)

Psalms 79:2;

The dead bodies of your servants have given to be food to the birds of the heavens, The flesh of your saints (Those destined) to the beasts of the earth.

Revelation 18:3

For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication are fallen; and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth waxed rich by the power of her wantonness.

For all (All have tried to please God through their own efforts at one time or another in their lives)

the nations (Heathen, Gentiles)  (Note: Revelation 18:24.)

have drunk (Note: Revelation 20:8;)

of the wine (Deceived by the intoxication of what we drank into our thinking, in this case Satan’s Harlot’s wine, which is the counterfeit of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.)

of the wrath of her fornication (Fleeting pleasures of the flesh)

are fallen; (From Grace)

and the kings of the earth (Earthly thinkers)

committed fornication (Committed Spiritual Adultery by accepting Mr. Grace, becoming married to Him, and then returning to have relations with Mr. Law of the works)

with her,(The Harlot, the False Church built with hands)

Proverbs 6:24-26;

To keep you from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of the adulteress. (Note: Revelation 18:24.)  25, Do not lust after her beauty in your heart; Neither let her take you with her eyelids. :26; For on account of a harlot [is a man reduced] to a piece of bread; (Spiritual food)  And the adulteress hunts for the precious life. (Life of Righteousness, But cannot be restored to true fellowship with the creator, because, of lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6; My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest.  Romans 10:2; For I can testify they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge. NOTE: READ PROVERBS 7)

and the merchants (Selling the Spiritual)

of the earth (Earthly, not Godly thinking)

have become rich (By selling the Spiritual)

by the power  (Only Temporal Power)

II Timothy 3:5

holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away.

of her sensuality. (The Flesh)
