The Order of Melchizedek web site teaches the mystery of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul succinctly states the mystery as, "Christ in you, the hope of glory!"

The entire Bible teaches that God created man in his own image. All of Scripture follows this theme. God did not create man an automaton; He created him with a free will, one that ultimately will learn to choose good over evil. When man fully learns to know good and evil and to choose the good, then and only then, has he been made in God's image. But, the Bible also teaches that man cannot do this in his own strength. He must humble himself to accept correction from his Father, his Creator, Jesus. It is a work of faith, Christ's own faith, for he is the author and finisher of our faith.
