Revelation 19:15

Hebrews 4:12;

(The Lord knows if we are lining up to the Plumb line of His Word, or not.)

of iron: (For the cutting of the head, where we think, root word #1269: to pierce. Used to do away with unrighteous thinking.) (Note: Revelation 2:27; 6:8,15; 9:9; 12:5; 18:12;)   

Psalms 2:9;

You will break them with a rod of iron; You shall break them into pieces like a potter’s vessel.

and He treads the winepress (Place of crushing where our flesh is removed)

Gethsemane means: The place of my crushing. We have to be crushed, to see our brokenness, to see that we are an abomination to God, desolate without Him, on the throne of our lives.

Numbers 18:27,

And your offering shall be reckoned to you, as though it were the grain of the threshing-floor, and as the fullness of the winepress.:28;So you shall also present an offering to the Lord of all your tithes, which you receive of the sons of Israel; and from it you shall give the Lord’s offering to Aaron the priest.

We have to become an offering to the Lord. It is our tithe to Him. The tithe, (That which belongs to God, Leviticus 27:30;  And all the tithe of the land, [We are the land] whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, Man is the Lord’s: man is holy to the Lord.) The tithe, which means a tenth part, refers to our thinking, our mind. Scientists have been telling us for years that Mankind only uses about 10% of our brain (minds). This is because we are to tithe our mind to Him and He gives us His mind in return.

Isaiah 6:13;

And if there be yet a tenth Part  (The 10% of our brain, which is our thinking.) in it, and it again will be subject to burning: (God’s consuming fire that burns up all that is not of Him.) as a terebinth, (A Tree; I see men as trees walking. Mark 8:24.) and as an oak, whose stump remains, when they are felled; (Cut down) so the holy seed (Jesus) is the stump thereof. Jesus gives us His mind for ours. He is the head; we are His body. (NOTE: Revelation 11:13) Jesus is the Word Tree Who was cut down for us.

Jude 1:4;

For there are certain men, who crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, (Wantonness; lust of the flesh) and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.. (Denying his rule on the throne of our lives by Practicing Righteousness.)

These are Earthly Pastors, Ministers, Reverends, Priests, etc. who are not practicing righteousness, nor do they teach How to Practice Righteousness.  They have received the delusion from the Lord to believe what is false because they did not love the Truth. II Thessalonians 2:10,11; these are of the False Church, the earthly Jerusalem, called the Harlot Babylon, and who are False Prophets.

I John 3:10;

By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious:

anyone who does not practice righteousness is not [Born] of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. (Confessing their sins along with their brothers’ sins.)

of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty. (His consuming Fire that burns away all that is not of God. The wrath of God that will try, test and purify all that is not of God so that all that will be left will be one with God, His Bride.) (Note: Revelation 18:4)

Deuteronomy 13:13, 15-18; (#13, is the number of rebellion)

:13; Some worthless men have gone out from among you and have seduced the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods’ (whom you have not known), (Strange gods) :15, You shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying it and all that is in it and its cattle with the edge of the sword. :16 And you shall gather all the spoil of it into the middle of the street and shall burn the city, (False church, earthly Jerusalem.) and all the spoil with fire as a burnt offering to the Lord your God: and it shall be a heap for ever. It shall never be rebuilt. :17 Nothing from that which is put under the ban shall cling to your hand; in order that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he has sworn to your fathers, :18 if you listen to the voice of the Lord Your God, to keep all His commandments which I command you this day, (This is love, II John :6 And this is love, that we should keep His commandments. This is the commandment, even as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.) to do that which is right in the eyes of the Lord Your God.

There is no other way to keep God’s commandments except by Practicing Righteousness while during stay here on Earth. Practicing Righteousness requires walking in FAITH every minute.  It is believing and trusting God that when we repent and confess our sin it is as if it never happened.  Therefore, we are PERFECT before God and counted as if we keep the whole law. (Commandments, Note: Revelation 1:1; 15:3; 19:2,15;)

Revelation 19:16

Genesis 40:16-22;

When the chief baker (The one who prepared bread [Spiritual] for Pharaoh, the king of Egypt [The earth].) saw that the interpretation was good, In the previous verses, Vs. 7-15; an interpretation was given to the Cup Bearer to Pharaoh. He (The chief baker) said to Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, three (#3, God is in the midst; number of the Trinity) baskets (Containers) of white (White, represents purity) bread (Bread, represents spiritual food) were on my head: (My fleshly thinking) 17-and in the uppermost (Lofty Thinking) basket there was of all manner of baked food (Not Godly; it was counterfeit spiritual food) for Pharaoh; (King of the Egypt, which represents the world) and the birds (Birds that eat flesh) did eat them out of the basket on (My mind) my head. (My fleshly thinking)

Therefore, the birds were eating flesh out of the basket of (Our mind) :18 And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: the three baskets are  three days; :19 within three days shall Pharaoh will lift up your head from off you, and will hang you on a tree; and the birds shall eat your flesh from off you.:20 And it came to pass on the third day, (The start of the Seventh Millennium, the Millennium Rest, is the start of the third day, from Jesus life on Earth, a day being a thousand years. Vs.18; Three days. Jesus was resurrected on the third day, and will, also, return on the third day. which was Pharaoh’s (Pharaoh, ruler of Egypt, which throughout the Bible represents the world) birthday, (When all will be born again, at the end of the millennium reign of Christ, when our old bestial man will be finally put to death.) that he made a feast to all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and the head of the chief baker among his servants. :21 And he restored the chief butler (Cup Bearer) to his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand: :22 but he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

Revelation 19:18

So that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of them that sit thereon, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, and small and great.

So that you may eat (Devour) the flesh (Carnal, Earthly thinking) of kings, and the flesh of captains, (leaders and false prophets) and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of them that sit thereon, (Those holding to a form of godliness although they deny it’s power)

and the flesh  of  all men, both free and bond, and small and great. (All)

God has a wonderful plan. The birds represent doing away with our bestial, fleshly thinking so that we will choose to walk after the Spirit.

Revelation 19:19

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat upon the horse, and against his army. (Note: Revelation 9:16,-21;)

and their armies, (Armies of earthly, not spiritual thinking)

gathered together to make war against Him (The Lord)

that sat upon the horse, (White, Pure  horse)

and against His (Spiritual) army.

We don’t like the killing of our flesh, so we try to defend our old lives. We love the darkness more than the Light. Until we see our brokenness we are desolate. Without the Lord ruling in His rightful Temple, we are in darkness. 

Revelation 19:20

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his sight, wherewith he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshipped his image: these two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone:

was taken, and with him the false prophet (False from the fallen nature, prophets who mix lies with some truth; the counterfeit Holy Spirit)

that performed the signs in his sight, wherewith he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshipped his (OWN, Self on the throne.)

In previous posts I have shown that the Greek word episunagoge appears only three times in Scripture.  It appears twice in Hebrews 10:25 where the word is wrongly used to compel attendance at churches made with men’s hands.  And it appears once in 2 Thessalonians 2:1 where the context is more clear: “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him…”  (2 Thessalonians 2:1 KJV)  Here the word’s “gathering together” render the Greek word episunagoge.  It is also important to note that the word “coming” here translates the Greek word parousia.  Thus we have seen that the passage that included Hebrews 10:25 relates especially to the time around Christ’s second coming.  But, when is that?

The book of Thessalonians gives us many clues concerning this time.  Continuing, chapter two reads,  “That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition…” (2 Thessalonians 2:2-3 KJV)  Here we see two specific conditions that must exist before Christ can return.  First, there must be a “falling away.”  Second, the “man of sin” must be “revealed.”  I propose that both have occurred and that every other condition one may find in Scriptures concerning his coming has happened. 

The words “falling away” above render the Greek word apostasia.  Other translations simply use the transliteration “apostasy” to translate it.  The word apostasy traditionally means “to fall away from accepted church doctrine” or “to desert one’s faith or religion.”  Most Bible teachers say that the word speaks of the time when churchmen will abandon God’s truth and teach the doctrine of demons instead and, of course, many point to blatant examples of false church doctrine today to say that the time of Christ’s return is near.  Christ’s return is near, but this interpretation is not accurate.

The word apostasia comes from the word apostasion which literally means “something separative, i.e. (specially) divorce.”  Interpreters of the Bible have always thought, then, that apostasia meant to separate from the truth, or to divorce oneself from the truth.  It doesn’t.  It speaks of separating from and divorcing the harlot church, Mystery Babylon, when the man of sin is revealed. 

The church made with men’s hands, the established church whether Catholic or Protestant, has always taught false doctrine.  Prayers to the saints and the “virgin Mary” began centuries ago.  The established church, whether Catholic or Protestant, killed those it determined to be heretics, the exact opposite of the love it was supposed to show.  Today all churches preach a mixture of truth and the traditions of men although they are no longer allowed by secular governments to kill their opponents.

The revelation of this hour is that God has given all men over to the beast within them unless and until they begin to practice righteousness.  The man of sin, the man of lawlessness, is each one of us who sits on the throne of his heart (spirit) rather than allowing Christ to rule his life.  Every man who refuses to practice righteousness is the man “who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:4 KJ2000)  Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. (1 Corinthians 3:16-17 KJ2000)

So, the man of lawlessness has been revealed, the call has gone out to separate (apostasia) from the harlot Babylon (“Come out of her, come out of Babylon!”)  Many have now apostasized, myself included.  I have not attended a church made with men’s hands for over nine years.  I know a few others.  2 Thessalonians 2:3 has now been fulfilled.  The LORD’s return is imminent.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, (Hebrews 10:23-26 KJ2000)

When you read the Numeric Bible you will see that the word translated “faith” in the King James should actually be translated “hope.”  The Greek word is “elpis” and literally means “to anticipate with pleasure.”  What is our hope?  In Acts 23:6 Paul says it is “the hope and resurrection of the dead.”   In Romans 5:2 he says it is the “hope of the glory of God.”   Paul explains a little more to the Romans, saying, “For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” (Romans 8:20-21 KJV)  “Our hope,” then, relates to our hope in our own glorification, that someday we will be even as He is. 

Hebrews thus exhorts us to hold fast this hope.  Why?  Because God is faithful and he promised this to us.  Therefore, he says, “let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.”    Hebrews 10:24.  This is a positive command.  Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 13 that the greatest expression of Christianity is “love.”  F.B. has taught us in his commentary on the Book of Revelation that the Two Witnesses are “the Word and the works that follow.”  “The Word” is God.  God is love.  So, this verse basically tells us “to be” the two witnesses as we wait in hope.

Next Hebrews says, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.”  Hebrews 10:25  Consider the context.  We should hold fast to our hope of one day being glorified.  When will that occur?  At the parousia.  At this point you should recall or read all of 1 Corinthians 15 and especially, “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (1 Corinthians 15:51-53 KJ2000)  But, does Hebrews 10:25 itself somehow reference this glorification of our mortal body?  Indeed it does. 

The phrase translated “assembling ourselves together” in Hebrews 10:25 translates two occurrences of the Greek word “episunagoge.”  The word appears in only one other passage of Scripture, 2 Thessalonians 2:1, where Paul says, “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him.”  The words “gathering together” here translate the Greek word “episunagoge.”  The context here, just as in Hebrews 10:25, is the Lord’s second coming.  Both passages exhort us to be prepared for that.  The “gathering together” speaks of being gathered together with Christ at his coming; it has nothing to do with going to a church meeting.

Then Hebrews warns that the habit of some is to neglect this gathering.  What does that mean?  Well, just talk about the nearness of the LORD’s return and you will see what that means.  People simply do not want to be confronted with the fact that Christ is now on their doorstep, that the episunagoge is at hand.  And when is it that we should especially not neglect this profound doctrine of the episunagoge and the glorification of the saints and exhort one another?  As you see the day approaching!  Do you see the Day approaching?  Do you see that Christ’s return is near?

Why is this so important?  Because, “if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins.”  Hebrews 10:26.  This gets back to the crux of the issue again.  God calls his people to practice righteousness.  If we sin, we repent and confess.  We do not plan to sin and thus sin willfully.  If we do, then we will not be ready when Christ comes.  We will not be accounted an overcomer, and we will not be glorified with the saints at that time.  We will then have our part in the Lake of Fire…. (Eternal torment in hell?  No, but that’s another story.)

So, the gathering together of the saints is not quite what we have been taught, is it?

Revelation 11:3

And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

John 5:36-39;30; 

“I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 31 ”If I alone testify about Myself, My testimony is not true. 32 ”There is another who testifies of Me, and I know that the testimony which He gives about Me is true. 33 ”You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth. 34 ”But the testimony which I receive is not from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved. 35 ”He was the lamp that was burning and was shining and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light. 36 ”But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish–the very works that I do–testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me. 37 ”And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form. 38 ”You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent. 39 ”You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify (Word #3140 meaning: to be a witness, to bear witness, i.e. to affirm that one has seen or heard from the Root: #3144; Same word as testify; a witness in a legal, historical sense)  about Me; (NOTE: Revelation 1:5,2:13,3:14,17:6;)  

These two witnesses perform the same functions as Moses and Elijah. The plagues that Moses inflicted were to deal with the Egyptian (worldly) spiritual system. This process was also effected by Elijah who witnessed against false religion within Israel. The two witnesses expose the false spiritual system (Harlot Babylon) of the last days. Thus the witnesses testify against false religion both within Israel and among the nations, But we are not to measure the nations against the plumbline of the word, for the nations represent the natural man. We are instructed not to Judge the natural man, as in,

I Corinthians 5:13; Those who are outside (The Light) God  judges. The power of His two witnesses is flowing through those who are Practicing Righteousness, just as He is Righteous. I John 3:7.

and they shall prophesy (Speak the Word, confirmed by the Works of God. John 14:10.) a thousand two hundred and sixty, [1260] days (3 ½ years; the last half of Daniel’s 70^th week. The Latter Day Rain. Daniel 9:27.)

clothed in sackcloth. (Repentance)

All men are called to become Sons of God, but few are chosen. This period of time is the same period of time that was given to the nations. This is the time of the Latter Day Rain when the Spirit of Grace is poured out for anyone who wishes to walk in the power of the light. The Early Rain was at Pentecost, just after Christ’s resurrection. What we are experiencing now is the Latter Day rain. Matthew 5:45: That you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven: for He makes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. I John 3:9,10.

Revelation 11:4

These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks, standing before the Lord of the earth.

These are the two (Two [#2] is the number of witness) olive (Fruit) trees (Men, Mark 8:24;) olive trees are men that produce fruit (Words & Works) and the two candlesticks, (Lampstands are the witnesses of the Light)

Zechariah Chapter 4:2,3; And He said to me, What do you see? And I said, I have seen, and, behold, a candlestick (Lights) all of gold, (Godly thinking) with its bowl upon the top (Head, receptacles for the oil of the Holy Spirit.) of it, and its seven lamps (Perfect Light) thereon; there are seven pipes to each of the lamps, (Perfect [#7] Pipes means to get the perfect anointing oil of God’s Grace flowing through us to empower each Light) which are upon the top thereof; (Through Godly thinking, the mind of Christ) :3; and two olive-trees (Olives must be crushed, leaving the flesh behind (destruction of the flesh), to get the Oil.[ Anointing of the Holy Spirit]) by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. Olive Trees produce fruit (Word) together with Candlesticks that produce Light (Together are: the Works and Word of God; John 5:36-39;)

standing (Firmly established) before the Lord of the earth.

Revelation 11:5

And if any man desires to hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies; and if any man shall desire to hurt them, in this manner must he be killed.

And if any man desires to hurt them, (Distort the word) fire proceeds out of their mouth (Jeremiah 5:14; Because you speak this [false] word, behold, I will make My words in your mouth fire)

and devours their enemies; and this people wood, [from a Tree] and it shall devour them)

and if any man desires to hurt (Distort or murder the word) them,(The two witnesses) in this manner they must be killed. Killed, by the Word of God, sharper than a, two-edged sword.

Revelation 11:6

These have the power to shut the heaven, that it would not rain during the days of their prophecy: and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they shall desire.

These have the power (To create, by Grace, through the spoken word, followed by works to confirm. The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative but the Father abiding in Me does His works. John 14:10.)

to shut the heaven, that it would not rain during the days of their prophecy: (I Kings 17:1;18:1;)

Why No Rain?

Ezekiel 22:24; Son of man, say to her: You are a land that has not been cleansed, that has not received rain in the day of indignation.

This  represents: the 3 ½ years of Latter Day Rain, (Truth understood) The three and a half days is the period when the two witnesses have withheld the Latter Rain from those who had not asked for it. (The Natural or Carnal Man) The Latter Day Rain is only given to those who ask and are heard in the Light, cleansed, by Practicing Righteousness.

Zechariah 10:1-3,11,12;

Ask rain from (Pouring out of understanding of God’s word of Truth, the veil is removed to be able to see clearly spiritually) the LORD at the time of the latter rain (No rain of knowledge and understanding on the Natural or Carnal Man) (NOTE: Revelation 11:2)  

The LORD who makes the storm clouds; And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man. 2 For their idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd. 3 Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle. 11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt shall depart away. 12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD;

(Jeremiah 3:15; is the reason for the 1000 year rest.)

The affliction of the shepherds occurs over time. The passage is through the sea of affliction, which is brought about by the flood of Satan’s lies, which is our own unrighteous thinking. Those who are his elect are brought to repentance and will turn again to the Lord among the nations, and then they will be restored to Heavenly Jerusalem  and their inheritance.

Jeremiah 3:1-3; 

They say, ‘If a man divorces his wife, (The Lord, Mr. Grace) And she goes from him And becomes another man’s, (Mr. Law of works) May he return to her again?’ Would not that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; Yet return to Me,” says the Lord. 2 ”Lift up your eyes to the desolate heights and see: Where have you not lain with men? By the road you have sat for them Like an Arabian in the wilderness; And you have polluted (Made unclean) the land With your harlotries and your wickedness. (Lawlessness):3; Therefore the showers have been withheld and there has been no latter rain;  yet you had a harlot’s forehead, you refused to be ashamed.(Harlot Babylon, Unrighteous thinking, False church built with hands)

and they (The Two Witnesses, the Word and Works of God;)  have power (I Kings 17:1 To seal up, neither dew or rain according to my word.) over the waters (Words of people, multitudes, nations and tongues. Sea of Mankind) (Note: Revelation 1:15; 7:17; 8:10,11; 11:6; 14:2,7; 16:4,5; 17:11,15; 19:6.) to turn them into blood, (Life) and to smite the earth with every plague, (Exodus 7:17-25.) (This is the Greek word, Plege [Play-gay] #4127, meaning: To wound; stripe; calamity: From the Root: Plesso [Place-so] #4141, meaning: To Flatten; to pound; to inflict with calamity; smite. From the word, Tupto [#5180, meaning: To hit with repeated blows; to beat, strike. (Note: Revelation 8:6 @ Joshua 6)   as often as they shall desire.

Revelation 11:7

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that cometh up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.

the beast (The Bestial Man has denied the power of godliness by usurping the throne of the Temple of their lives, where Christ should be instead, and has thus become the Synagogue of Satan.) (Note: Revelation  2:9; 3:9; 9:3 and vs.11; 12:4; 13:2.)

that comes up out of the abyss (Darkness of man’s thinking) shall make war (And cause them to fight the fight of faith) with them, (The two witnesses; the Word and Works.) and overcome them, (By making the lie of half truths, seem like the whole Truth) and kill them. (Murdered the Truth of the Word, silenced their witness.) (Note: Revelation 9:9; 11:7;12:6,7,12)

Revelation 11:8

And their dead bodies [lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

Body)  lie in the street (The Way; Jesus John 14:6; I Am the Way the Life and the Truth, no one comes to the Father, but through Me. Jeremiah 7:17; Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?)

of the great city, (The Harlot Babylon, Earthly Jerusalem, Now, Natural and Carnal Man. The False church which eats defiled food from the Harlot, not the Perfect Church by practicing Righteousness.)

Galatians 4:24-26;

Which things contain an allegory: for these women are two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children unto bondage, (Sin) which is Hagar. :25 Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia and answers to the Jerusalem that is now: for she is in bondage (Sin) with her children. (Note: Revelation 2:23;11:13; 18:19.) :26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother. (Sarah)

The Jerusalem which is now is that which spiritually is called Sodom (Flaming; burning; Mystery; their secret; root = to hide. Fettered. Sodom represents the flesh in the bonds of sin.) All of these refer to Sin.

and Egypt, (The world) Sodom and Egypt are therefore the sins of the world.

where also their Lord was crucified. (Jesus was crucified in The Earthly Jerusalem that is now, which is the False Church that feeds on half truths, just as the Judaism of Jesus’ day was the false church of that age that fed on half truths)

Revelation 11:9

And from among the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations do [men] look upon their dead bodies three days and a half, and suffer not their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

bodies (Jeremiah 8:3; And they chose death rather than life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places whither I have driven them, says the Lord of hosts.)

three and a half days, (The word: day, is #2250: which can indicate a longer period of time than a 24 hour period, as when in the plural, may indicate a time span in years.)

and do not allow their dead bodies to be laid in a  tomb.

Revelation 11:10

(Word # 928; to test metals by the touchstone, used to test the purity of gold or silver; to question by applying torture; to vex with grievous pains of body or mind, to torment; to be harassed, distressed.[Jacob’s Trouble]) Full of unGodly fear, love not perfected)

And those that dwell on the earth (Earthly thinking) rejoice over them, and make merry; and they shall send gifts (Bribes) one to another;

Ezekiel 16:31-33; When you built your shrine (Churches built with hands) at the beginning of every way, and made your high place on every street, in disdaining money, you were not as a harlot; :32, A wife that commits adultery! (Vashti, in the Book of Esther. I Corinthians  Chapter 5; – 6:17.) that takes strangers instead of her Husband! :33; [In that] They give gifts to all harlots; but you give your gifts to all your lovers, and bribe them to come to you from every direction of your Harlotries. (The Harlot Babylon) (NOTE: Revelation 14:8; 16:19; Chapters 17 thru 18:13; 21:3;)

Amos 2:6; …because they have sold the righteous for a bribe,

This has a two-fold meaning; it refers to, of course, Judas, but it also refers to, selling spiritual things, meant to be free. (Nehemiah 5:1-5; Isaiah 55:1; Amos 5:11 and 12;)

Micah 3:11.

Her leaders pronounce judgment (The Light of Gods Truth) for a bribe, and the priests instruct for a price, and her (The Harlot Babylon’s) prophets divine for money: yet they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord in the midst of us? no evil shall come on us.

because these two (Two[#2] is the number of witness) prophets (True prophets, those who see and hear the words of the Lord and speak, His words to others.)

Most people, however, are unwilling or are too lazy to test the word and fruits of what they hear in order to see for themselves, testing what they hear against the word, to find out whether or not prophets are prophets from God. They certainly do not give the double honor which the word instructs us to give to true prophets who labor in the word in order to prophesy Truth to those who are in spiritual famine. (I John 4:1; I Timothy 5:17;)

The truth that comes forth from a true prophets mouth (Words, His fruit) has tormented (Fearful) these people. They are full of fear because they did not want to put forth the time and effort to study the word, to really KNOW [Ginosko] and TRUST their Husband, the Truth, intimately for themselves.

those that dwell on the earth. (Earthly thinking, not heavenly)

Colossians 3:1,2;

If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.:2; Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.)

So, they made up their own way of thinking that tickled their ears.

II Timothy 4:3;

For the time will come (That time is now) when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, wanting to have theirs ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires.

They get mad at the true prophets of God.  They are unable to hear the Truth because of their own deceitful PRIDE.

Daniel 9:6;

Moreover, we have not listened to your servants the prophets, that spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

Revelation 11:11

And after the three days and a half the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them that beheld them

And after (After the completion of) the three and a half days (The Gospel was preached the First half (3½ years) of the Early Rain) (NOTE: Revelation 8:1; 10:4; 11:2, and vs.. 13.)  the breath of life from God (The Holy Spirit.)  entered into them, (As a pledge)

Ephesians 1:13,14;

in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,– in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of [God's] own possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The Flood:

Revelation 12:5-6; Then she gave birth to a son, who will rule over all nations with an iron rod. But the child was snatched away and taken to God and His throne. The woman fled to the desert, to a place God had prepared for her, where she will be taken care of for 1,260 days, from the flood of lies. The 1260 days in the desert is patterned after the event when Israel left Egypt and wandered in the desert 40 years. In wrath Pharaoh pursued the woman ‘Israel’ into the Red Sea. But the earth helped the women and the sea was divided in the middle. (Which has the earmark of a tsunami.) Moreover, note that the ‘woman’ of Revelation 12 is associated with ‘heavenly signs’. And, remarkably, these also occurred at the time of the great tsunami. On the day of the tsunami, December 26, 2004, one of the most remarkable heavenly signs ever recorded happened. Another huge solar burst came from a star billions of miles away and pummeled the earth with radiation. Also in the heavens at that time was the record 5th naked-eye comet of the year that was rising like a scepter over Pleiades, called the seven sisters (i.e., the seven churches of Revelation 2-3), or the ‘menorah’ as it is called by the Jews. It is reminiscent of the star of Bethlehem at the birth of the man-child Jesus!

Revelation 11:13 Continued:

and the tenth part (Our thinking)

Ten [#10] is the number of the Law of works; the works of the hands. The tenth part often refers to a recipe for a sacrifice, and of course, the tithe, (That which belongs to God, which is our Thinking.)

Leviticus 27:30;  And all the tithe (Which means: a tenth part) of the land, ([We are the land] Psalm 103:14; For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are but dust.) whether of the seed of the land, [Man]  or of the fruit of the tree, [Man] is the Lord’s: it is holy to the Lord.

But what we must know, is that this refers to our thinking, our mind. Scientist, have been telling us for years, that Mankind, only uses about 10% of our brain (minds). We are to tithe our mind to Him and He gives us His mind in return.

Isaiah 6:13;

And if there be yet a tenth Part in it, and it again will be subject to burning: (God’s consuming fire that burns up all that is not of Him.) as a terebinth, (A Tree; I see men as trees walking. Mark 8:24.) (Note: Revelation 7:1; 19:15;) and as an oak, whose stump remains, when they are felled; (Cut down) so the holy seed (Jesus) is the stump thereof.

Jesus gives us His mind for ours. He is the head we are His body.

of the city (A group of people).

These people, have been forgiven, but have gone back to trying to keep a set of rules which they cannot keep by their own effort. They are trying to please God through their own way of thinking, not by faith in practicing righteousness, by trusting Him to become obedient, through Love.

fell; (Our old thinking destroyed) Just like the wall of Jericho came down flat. (Note: Revelation 8:6; 12:1) and there were killed  (Dead to self; Dead to the flesh) in the earthquake, (Our faults are moved) seven (Seven [#7] is the number of Divine perfection) thousand (Descendants of Abraham) (NOTE: Revelation 21:16)  persons:

The Church, the Invited, Called, have received the promise of their Salvation,

I John 3:2;

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it is not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him; (Never doubting, in perfect faith)  for we shall see Him even as He is.

and the rest (The World, the unsaved.) were terrified,

They think they are going to Hell.  If a tenth of the city was 7,000 then, the population of the city was 70,000. Seventy (70) is the number before increase. (NOTE: Revelation 20:1)

and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Zechariah 12:10

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, (Earthly Jerusalem in bondage) (Note: Revelation 11:8)

the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.

When the RETURN OF CHRIST takes place every one of His creations will know He is the Creator. He may come back 300 feet tall One doesn’t know how it will look, but every eye shall see Him for who He is, GOD OUR CREATOR.

They (the world) will weep and mourn because they will be expecting the punishment of HELL. They know they have rejected the True God, the Creator. They know they have lived their lives for themselves, not seeking His true ways. The world will know they have rejected the ONE TRUE GOD. The world has been told by Christians, for centuries, that, “If you don’t accept Jesus, you’re going to burn in Hell Fire Forever!”

John 20:22; And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit: and they stood (Able to stand Spiritually) on their feet; (Through His Spirit of the Latter Day Rain, last half of 3½ years) and great fear fell upon them that beheld them. This is the fear of Mordecai, (A man who Practiced Righteousness in the Book of Esther 9:3.)

Revelation 11:12

And they heard a great voice from heaven saying to them, Come up hither. And they went up into heaven in the cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

(Spiritually) And they (The witnesses of God, true prophets, those who practice righteousness on earth, with Grace flowing through them, producing His Words, followed with the confirmation of His Works. Ezekiel 37:10-13:) went up into heaven in (Abiding in) the cloud; (The Lord is in the cloud. Exodus 19:8; 34:5;)  (NOTE: Revelation 1:7; 10:1; 11:3) and their (Those who Practiced Righteousness) enemies (All those who did not practice righteousness.) beheld them. (The Word and Works of God)

Revelation 11:13

And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell; and there were killed in the earthquake seven thousand persons: and the rest were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

And in that hour (Both halves of the early and latter Rain, make up The hour of SALVATION) there was a great earthquake, (We are made of the earth, an earthquake, is caused by the moving of Fault lines. When we are moved to see spiritually, we see our faults of sin.)  

It is also interesting that there are two natural cataclysmic phenomena associated with the number 1260 in Revelation (Revelation 11 and 12). In this chapter, Revelation 11, we have “a great earthquake” when the Two Witnesses rise from the dead, and in Revelation 12 we have “a flood of water.” A ‘great earthquake’ and the ‘flood of water’ are the two elements of the great tsunami! (December 26, 2004)

Luke 21:25,26;

There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

The Earthquake:

The number seven is often divided in half in the bible. Moreover, one of the Two Witnesses is patterned after Moses when God plagued Egypt. At the 10th and last plague Pharaoh threatened Moses with death, but instead the firstborn of Pharaoh died. The Two Witnesses likewise die after they complete their ministry of plaguing the world. This is a type of Jesus who died on Passover. (Except Jesus was Himself plagued on the cross for mankind as a substitute Passover-lamb sacrifice so that all who believe on Him might be saved.) Furthermore, inclusive of Passover day itself, Jesus also rose 3½ years after His 1260-day ministry the same as the Two Witnesses! (The days of the life of Jesus from conception also numbered about 12,600.) Thus, both the narrative and the numeric of Revelation 11-12 clearly link Moses as one of the Two Witnesses (in type) and Moses, in turn, is a type of Christ’s ministry, death, resurrection and ascension. Even their births are similar in that the reigning kings of their day were both slaying the male babies when the deliverers Jesus (The Word) and Moses (The Works) were born and protected.

The ‘ascension’ of the Two Witnesses agrees in theme to the second and last mention of the “1260 days” in the book of Revelation, found in the next chapter. Both, the Two Witnesses (Revelation 11) and the “son” (Jesus) (Revelation 12) share the common theme of ascending to God after being killed. (Dead to self) For both the Two Witnesses and the “son” (Jesus) are “caught up to heaven,” and both the Two Witnesses and the Son ascend within the context of the earth under the rod of judgment. (I Thessalonians 1:10, 5:9;)The phrase “Come up here” also links this passage back to Moses. For God told Moses (several times) to “Come up here” to the top of Mount Sinai, (Exodus 19:23-24; 24:1-12; 34:2-3). It is also interesting that Jesus ascended to heaven on the anniversary that Noah and his family left the Ark after the great flood.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For in it is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and deity; so that they are without excuse: Because, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is shameful, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was fitting. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not proper; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they who commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans 1:16-32 KJ2000)

This passage states that mankind deliberately suppresses God’s truth.  More than that, they actually turn God’s truth into a lie.  We see rampant examples of this everyday in the once Christian nations of the West.  Actions specifically condemned by Paul (and, indeed, all of Scripture) are now approved and even celebrated by modern Christians in these nations.  Just read the sermons on abortion and homosexuality by the “Reverend” Katherine Hancock Ragsdale, Dean of Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA to get a real sense of turning God’s truth into a lie.  Ragsdale in these sermons commits the blasphemy and unforgivable* sins of calling evil good.  If you have been reading F.B.’s commentary on Revelation you will understand that Ragsdale is a “carnal Christian,” one who has committed “sins unto death.”  See 1 John 5:16-17.

This active suppression of the truth and the turning of the truth into a lie reveals the times in which we live.  This is the “mystery of lawlessness” Paul alludes to in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2.  Mankind en mass has now exalted himself and his opinions above God’s revelation of truth, thus proclaiming that he (man) is God.  The apostasy, or rebellion, spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 literally means “a standing away from” or “divorcement.”  It speaks of divorcing oneself from the truth, which is what apostasy literally means.  The man of lawlessness in now revealed.  He is not just one man; he is every man that does not practice righteousness by confessing and repenting of his sins.  The man of lawlessness cannot confess because he cannot admit that God defines truth and he does not.

Thus, we now live in the time when the parousia of Christ may occur and the Sons of God may be glorified.

* Deliberate rebellious acts against the Truth remain unforgivable until a person repents.

Christians often misuse a key end-times scripture in order to encourage their “back-slidden” brethren to “go back to church.”  They say, “Don’t forsake the assembling together of the brethren for fear of woeful judgment” as they mistakenly quote Hebrews 10:25-27.

But those verses have nothing to do with going to church.  They have everything to do, however, with the parousia, the second coming of our LORD Jesus Christ.  The Greek word translated “the assembling together” in Hebrews 10:25 is episunagoge which is used twice in this passage.  This  word occurs only one other time in all Scripture, in one of the very most important verses concerning Christ’s second coming, 2 Thessalonians 2:1.  This is an important clue for discerning it meaning. 

Paul said to the Thessalonians, “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him…” (2 Thessalonians 2:1 KJ2000)  Here the editors translate the word episunagoge as “gathering together,” which is very similar to the meaning of “assembling together” used in Hebrews.  But, notice the context here in 2 Thessalonians.  This passage clearly concerns the gathering together, or assembling together, of Christians to meet Christ at his second coming.  Is the context of Hebrews 10:25 different?

The apostle says in Hebrews, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.” (Hebrews 10:25-27 KJ2000)  The context here is “as you see the day approaching.”  This passage concerns the day of the LORD, the time of Christ’s second coming, NOW!

Hebrews 10:25-27 means to prepare God’s people for his coming.  The verse deals with readiness to meet him face to face and exhorts us to quit sinning willfully.  Why?  Because no sacrifice for sin but Jesus exists or remains to us.  Many are called, but few are chosen.  Jesus calls us to emulate him, to mourn over our sinfulness, and seek his perfection and holiness.   We should especially  do this as we see the day approaching.  Why?  Because those who think they have it made simply because they make a proclamation of faith in Jesus will be sorely surprised when they miss the rapture, the parousia.  God calls us to be holy as he is holy.

John also speaks of this time in this important verse, “Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (1 John 3:1-2 KJ2000)

This appearance of God alluded to here is the second coming Paul speaks of 2 Thessalonians 2:1.  Paul, John, and Hebrews all speak about the same event.  The doctrine of episunagoge, then, is this:  Do not forsake the teaching about being ready to meet Jesus face to face at his second coming, especially as you see that day approaching.  This is the doctrine of separation, sanctification, and holiness.
