Have you ever considered why the world persecutes Christians more than any other religious group? For example, most Muslim countries make Christians second class citizens, forbid the preaching of the Gospel, forbid conversion from Islam to Christianity, and often turn a blind eye to destruction of their property and even their lives.  The Muslim rebels in Syria commit atrocities against Christians wherever they find them. On the other side of the world, in America, our President supports the Muslim rebels and terrorists in Syria instead of the Christians they brutally massacre.  Yet, it was in Antioch in ancient Syria where believers in Christ were first called Christians and President Assad, whom America wants forcibly removed from power, always protected the Christian communities in Syria. Similarly when the Muslim Brotherhood rose to power in Egypt they attacked and destroyed the ancient Coptic Christians who had lived there in relative peace for 2,000 years.  Saudi Arabia does not even allow a Bible into its territory and, remember, Saudi Arabia has been one of the most vocal and vehement opponents of Assad and his rule in Syria.

In America itself Bible-believing Christians have now been identified as potential terrorists by the NSA. Following is a quote from today’s article on TruNews:

Once upon a time US political leaders could at least identify the enemies of the United States. And, once upon a time, Hollywood could make movies about the enemies of the United States and the free world.

But those days are gone. Today US political leaders believe there are no enemies, no war – just “overseas contingency operations” and “man-caused disasters.”

And, Hollywood is just as delusional. The California cowards are afraid to link Islam and terror and afraid to portray the horrors of fanatical Islamists who declared war on America over a decade ago.

The movie starts out with scenes from a London campus on 9-11-2001. Yet, Hollywood chose not to show the actual towers crumbling to the ground. That would be too offensive – to Muslims. Instead any actual footage of the attack were left to the imagination.

Then, as the movie develops you discover the enemies who are set on blowing up New York City are Christians from Russia who get their orders from the local Orthodox priest in Deerborn, Michigan. Got that?  (Click here for the article on TruNews)

So, why does the world, including the so-called “Christian”president and many wealthy Americans of so-called “Christian” America, persecute faithful Christians more than any other religious group? It is because true Christians believe in absolute truth instead of what is falsely called knowledge by the leaders in today’s world. We remain the only group in the world who stands against the perversions forced upon mankind by the New World Order, Satan’s beast governmental system which now rules and beats down the entire world.

God prophesied through Isaiah almost 3,000 years ago that he would raise up a people known as Immanuel who would one day rule the world in righteousness. Part of that prophesy includes the following passage:

16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

17 And I will wait upon the Lord, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

18 Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. (Isaiah 8:16-20 KJV)

What is this testimony of which Isaiah speaks? It is nothing less than God’s testimony of his own truth and power which He commanded to be placed within the Ark of the Testimony.  This ark is the Ark of the Covenant which God commanded to be placed within the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle of Moses and in the Temple of Solomon. Three specific things comprise this testimony, 1) the jar of manna, 2) the tablets upon which God inscribed the Ten Commandments, and 3) Aaron’s dead rod which budded into new life.

The jar of manna represents the Word of God, Jesus Christ, who created all things and sustains all things by the word of his power. The Ten Commandments speak the absolute truth of God upon which all governments, both heavenly and terrestrial, should be based. Aaron’s dead rod which budded with living almond blossoms represents the overcomers whose carnal flesh will be changed in an instant to a glorified body like Christ’s at the first fruits’ resurrection. Isaiah says that these overcomers will speak according to this testimony. This is how we know overcomers from false Christians or adherents of other religions. If a person does not speak according the word of God’s Law and God’s testimony, then he has no light within himself and proves himself to be an impostor.

The Book of Hebrews, the Book of the Sons of God, the Book of Immanuel, teaches this truth in many ways. Chapter four contains one such profound passage.

11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:11-13 ESV)

Remembering now that the testimony and law of God speak of “the word of God” understand that this testimony works in your life to divide your soul from your spirit. The word of God does not cut actual bones and marrow, though, does it? No, this phrase occurs here to help us understand the process of dividing soul and spirit. Our soul consists of our mind, will, and emotions. It is carnal, of the flesh, just as bones are of the flesh. But, our spirits contain true life. This is the place within us in which God planted his seed when we believed in Jesus. This is the Kingdom of God within us as Jesus told us. We renew our minds, as Paul taught, by feeding our spirits with God’s Word. Just as marrow makes blood and brings life to our natural bodies, so does the working of the spirit within us work to renew our minds and bring salvation to our souls.

The word of God is living and active. It is sharper than any two-edged sword because it cleaves even to the division of souls and spirits. Paul then likens the soul to the bone and the spirit to the marrow. Just as the marrow brings life to our bodies with a fresh blood supply, so does the spirit bring life to our souls. Yet, Hebrews says, this comes by the working of the word of God. This is why the word of God and the absolute truth that it contains remains so important in the plan of God and his purposes concerning men. This is why communist countries in the past forbade the printing, publication, and preaching of the word of God, the Bible. This is why Muslim nations today forbid the Bible in their countries. This is why men today speak of banning the Bible. The Bible, the word of God, speaks absolute truth and it absolutely condemns the moral perversity of mankind in this unholy hour.

Remember, Immanuel means “God with us.” The overcomers who become Immanuel eat the manna, eat the word of God, so that they will become Immanuel. They feed upon the testimony of God and they speak according to it. So take care what you feed your spirit and soul. You are what you eat!
