Every Choice

EVERY CHOICE

If I never felt the touch of God
I would always be alone
If he had not said, “You shall not do this,”
then that I would have done

But there came a day
I knew that I was sin
that the things I longed to do and did
displeased the God within

So I learned his words and sought his ways
and strained to hear his voice,
began to pray and then discern
his will in every choice
