This one idea is what convinced me that we live on a flat earth. Once you understand that the equation for declension on a globe the size of our earth is 8 inches x (miles away squared) you realize that there is no way the Chicago skyline could be visible from 47.5 miles. The curvature at 47.5 miles is 1500 feet which means that the Chicago shoreline and up to 1500 feet above it would be invisible from 47.5 miles away. As you see, the shoreline is perfectly visible with nothing falling out of view behind a supposed curvature. Game over! Case proved! We live on a flat earth!
