Psalm 12 contains several important prophecies concerning these last days.

First David earnestly seeks God’s intervention because God’s people are being destroyed throughout the earth. He desperately declares that he can no longer find faithful people among men. Surely this describes the scarcity of righteousness and holiness among those who name the Name of God in our time.

 “Save, O Lord, for ^(A)the godly one is gone; for the faithful have vanished from among the children of man.” (Psalm 12:1 ESV)

Next he describes the main characteristic of the people that he does find.

Everyone ^(B)utters lies to his neighbor;
    with ^(C)flattering lips and ^(D)a double heart they speak. (Ps. 12:2)

David prophecies of a time when no one can trust the other, a time when people speak simply to flatter someone else, a time when men say one thing but mean another because they speak with a “double heart,” a double mind. We see this clearly in political leaders. They always say exactly what the people want to hear, yet when elected they act contrary to their promises. Once elected they say they are doing what they promised, but they lie. America’s leader today, President Obama, states publicly over and over again that he is doing the exact opposite of what he is really doing. He deliberately lies over and over again and still his supporters believe every word he says. The newspapers dutifully report Obama’s lies and embellish them with their own. On the other hand Republicans have voted overwhelmingly to nominate a man who claims publicly to oppose those things that Obama does and yet Romney’s own past actions and words show that he supports every major policy that Obama has and wants to implement. Everyone it seems loves the lie. Therefore David prays that God will bring an end this lying lawlessness.

3 May the Lord cut off all flattering lips,
the tongue that makes great boasts,

4 those who say, “With our tongue we will prevail,
our lips are with us; who is master over us?”

I don’t watch the movie stars, the rock stars, the sports stars, or the political stars anymore, but I still remember how they shamelessly honor one another with their lips. Their friends and acquaintances are always the best, the most gracious, the most loving, generous, giving, and lovely person you could ever meet! Their lips, their words, are with them and for them. Who could dare come against them and master them? They are the stars of the earth, the ones everyone looks to for advice, wisdom, and approval. Consider again how President Obama surrounds himself with movie stars and basks in the glow of their never-ending approval. No one can master them!… they think.

But God has other plans, plans which very soon will come into effect.

5 “Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan,
I will now arise,” says the Lord;
“I will place him in the safety for which he longs.”

The time has come for God to arise from his throne and place all of Christ’s enemies under his feet. He has patiently watched for millennia as men threw off the restraints of his laws, both moral and physical. He has even continued watching as man’s breaking of natural laws through genetic modification of plants and animals, biological weapons, chemical weapons, and atomic weapons now threatens to destroy the entire world. But, he can sit idly by and watch no longer. Now he must arise. He must stand and utter his judgment, his terrible judgment.

6 The words of the Lord are pure words,
like silver refined in a furnace on the ground,
purified seven times.

God’s words of judgment will not be like men’s flattering words of lies and deception. God speaks pure words, as pure as the purest silver or gold, words purified seven times, that is, unto perfection.

7 You, O Lord, will keep them;
you will guard us[b] from this generation forever.

Contrary to double-minded, lying men, our LORD will “keep” his words. He will guard “this generation.” Which generation will he guard? He will guard the generation that sees vileness exalted among the children of man, the generation that witnesses the age-old foundation of God’s moral order turned on its head and destroyed. He will guard the generation who live during the times described by the last verse of this prophetic psalm.

8 On every side the wicked prowl,
as vileness is exalted among the children of man.

What could be a truer statement than this concerning America in the year 2012? Is it vile? Then it’s exalted. Look at Lady Gaga. Is it vile? Then its exalted. Look at open homosexual activity in America’s military, states that pass laws giving special rights and the right to marry the same sex to homosexuals. Is it vile? Then its exalted. Look at genetically modified plants and animals and the push toward transhumanism in man’s attempt to usurp God’s throne. Look at laws which prohibit ownership and use of God’s creation, like raw milk and healing herbs, and which protect big pharma and other corporations which prey upon the poor. Look at lawless laws like Obamacare which enslave the people to the whims of a few.

And since vileness is exalted by our society it has become true as well that the wicked prowl in every city and lurk on every corner. We live in dark, desperate days. And this is what we should expect because we have entered the Day of the LORD when darkness covers the earth. But, as David prophesies, now it is time for God to arise and God’s Word is certain. He will keep his word! Great tribulation and great judgment is coming upon the wicked. It is but a breath away.

 ^7(I) ”You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. (Exodus 20:7, ESV)

Most people think this verse merely deals with cursing and using one of the names of God in the curse or swearing. Undoubtedly that demonstrates a vain use of God’s name, but God means something far deeper here. Jesus must have had this commandment in mind when he proclaimed,

 ^21(Z) “Not everyone who^(AA) says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will^(AB) enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who^(AC) does the will of my Father who is in heaven. ^22(AD)On that day^(AE) many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not^(AF) prophesy in your name, and cast out demons^(AG) in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ ^23(AH) And then will I declare to them, ‘I^(AI) never knew you;^(AJ) depart from me,^(AK) you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21-23 ESV)

Jesus speaks to believers in this passage. These people believed they walked the earth doing might works in Jesus’ name. They traveled to Africa and Mexico from America and cast out demons, they thought, in Jesus’ name. They attended charismatic churches, home groups, and Christian camps and there they prophesied, they thought, in Jesus’ name. They spoke in tongues, saw and did miracles, and all the while thought they were doing these things in Jesus’ name. And Jesus, sitting at the right hand of his Father in heaven, saw all that they did, heard all that they taught, and knew all that they thought. When they came before him to accept their reward for their great and selfless works upon the earth Jesus declared to them, “I^(AI) never knew you;^(AJ) depart from me,^(AK) you workers of lawlessness.”

Three things he tells them. First, “I never knew you.” In Biblical terms “to know” someone means “to know one intimately.” In the Old Testament the word was often used to refer to knowing one’s wife sexually. Today many of the churches I described in the recent teaching on the Church of Thyatira believe they dwell on intimate terms with Jesus. They often talk of “passion for Christ.” Their women often sing seductively about their feelings for Christ. But, these illustrate Jezebel’s teachings which lead the Church of Thyatira into the sexual immorality for which Jesus judges her.

Other churches now teach that Jesus was or may have been homosexual. These actively ordain homosexuals to church ministry. Other churches may not yet teach or consider that Jesus was homosexual, but nevertheless, they still ordain homosexuals to the ministry. I urge everyone to read the following link written by an active lesbian “Christian,” Katherine Ragsdale, to gain some understanding of just how far these ideas have gone. Katherine Ragsdale link here.

All of these churches believe they “know” Jesus, but they know him the wrong way. They do not know him according to his truth. All of these replaced his truth with their own truth, their own food. All of them had their secret agendas, like worldly power or prestige, and secret sins, like abortion, adultery or homosexual fornication, which kept them from acknowledging truth. Because they refused to repent these sins and the animating demons behind them became their idols. Thus they ended up sacrificing truth (food) to their idols (demons and demonic sin). Sacrificing food to idols is the second grave sin of Jezebel and her Thyatiran church.

Second, to these whom Jesus never knew, he says, “Depart from me!” Where are they to go? They thought they believed in Jesus and that he would save them. Where do they go now? These are they who “have their part” in the lake of fire. The lake of fire is not hell and it will not contain for eternity. This is the place where they will be cast into outer darkness until they learn to repent and obey Christ in truth. Jesus says,

⁵ Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me,^[b] “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” ⁶ And He said to me, “It is done!^[c] I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. ⁷ He who overcomes shall inherit all things,^[d] and I will be his God and he shall be My son. ⁸ But the cowardly, unbelieving,^[e] abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:5-8, NKJV)

Third, Jesus condemns them as “workers of lawlessness.” If they had known him, then they would have known his truth, his law. But they rejected his law as too harsh. They rejected his law and replaced it with “grace.” But Jesus did not abandon law and truth in order to bring us grace. His way is the way of mercy (grace, righteousness) and truth (law, justice). It is a narrow way and few there be who find it.

Lawless people can never and will never enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Hear what the LORD says at the very end of his book.

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do His commandments,^[g] that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But^[h] outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:14-15)

So what does it mean to “take the name of the LORD in vain?” It means that if we do anything in his name, if we do anything as a Christian or as part of a Christian ministry, and do it in a lawless way, or in a way not in accordance with this truth, then we have used the name of the LORD in vain. Being and acting as a Christian is a serious thing. The way is narrow. We cannot just do what we want to and call it Christian. Yet the vast majority of Christianity take the name of the LORD in vain. We establish countless church programs, ministries, and missionary trips. And we fool ourselves and try to fool others into thinking that these are all good Christian works. When we use the word “Christian” to describe our works and yet Jesus has not called us to these works, nor did they arise from our relationship with and knowledge of him, then we have used his name in vain. And, of course, when we call evil good and good evil (like abortion and homosexual relationships) within a Christian context we have used the LORD’s name in vain. So much of the Church has done this that it has become an abomination in Christ’s eyes. She has become the Abomination of Desolation.

Paul taught the Corinthians that natural revelation precedes spiritual revelation and most of us know the maxim, “first the natural, then the spiritual.” Paul wrote First Corinthians in this precise manner. This is why he rebuked them for physical acts of sexual immorality before discussing their spiritual acts of fornication by eating food sacrificed to idols. His discussion of the spiritual ramifications of physical fornication, however, gives us instruction about the results of spiritual adultery. Paul says,

Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid. What? know you not that he who is joined to a harlot is one body? for two, says he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body. What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have of God, and you are not your own? For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1 Corinthians 6:15-20)

We can think of Paul’s first book to the Corinthians also as an instruction manual for the Thyatira church, for the Corinthians clearly suffered the same sins as those we see in Thyatira in Revelation 2:18-29. As do all the writers of God’s sacred books, Paul seeks to instruct people who will actually obey what he says. His book to Corinth instructs overcomers who want to escape bondage to Jezebel, Babylon the Great, and the ways of this world.

You will recall that Thyatira’s two main sins were sexual immorality and eating food sacrificed to idols. She learned these sins from her harlot prophetess, Jezebel. Even today Thyatira remains characterized by a strong prophetic woman spirit, a spirit which Paul forbade to even speak in his churches. I am not saying the main prophets in Thyatira were then or are today women; I am not saying that women cannot be true prophets; I am saying that “Jezebel” in Revelation 2 represents a lying demon who takes on female characteristics.  She is known for her prophetic ministry and two particular sins that proceed from that ministry, sexual immorality and eating food sacrificed to idols.

We all know what sexual immorality is (or at least we did until fornicating homosexuals were ordained to certain Christian ministries). Fornication with another, says Paul, causes that person to become “one” with the other person. Since Christian believers make up one body with Christ this causes Christ to become one with a “harlot.” And this, says Paul, results from simply natural, carnal fornication, that is, having sex with another person who is not your wife. This is the application of “the natural” as it affects a spiritual reality, our relationship with our LORD and Savior. How much more then ought we to consider and understand spiritual fornication! Yet, after 2000 years the church of Jesus Christ at large does not even know what “eating food sacrificed to idols” means! Thus they can never understand that so many of them regularly commit spiritual adultery. Paul wrote,

 ¹⁴Therefore, my beloved,^(X) flee from idolatry. ¹⁵I speak^(Y) as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say. ^16(Z) The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ?^(AA) The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? ¹⁷Because there is one bread, we who are many are^(AB) one body, for we all partake of the one bread. ¹⁸Consider^(AC) the people of Israel:^[c](AD) are not those who eat the sacrifices participants in the altar? ¹⁹What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that^(AE)an idol is anything? ²⁰No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice^(AF) they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. ^21(AG)You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and^(AH) the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and^(AI) the table of demons. ^22(AJ) Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy?^(AK) Are we stronger than he? (1 Cor. 10:14-22)

“Eating food sacrificed to idols” means to eat food from the table of demons. All of Scripture teaches that “food” in this context means “doctrine,” or “spiritual precepts.”  See especially Hebrews 13:9-10. We should think of “eating food sacrificed to idols” as meaning “eating Satan’s food,” or “walking in the doctrines of demons rather than the ways of God,” or “knowing the deep things of Satan rather than the precepts of God,” or “being moved by every wind of a spirit instead of discerning the spirits by the Spirit of God.” Such behavior by Christians results in them becoming one with the spirit of Satan instead of one with the Spirit of God.

Paul thus uses the term “eating food sacrificed to idols” as a euphemism for having spiritual intercourse with demons. This spiritual adultery defiles one’s soul because by doing this he becomes “one” soul with Satan. Eating food sacrificed to idols ultimately brings a person to the place where he calls good evil and evil good. At this stage he becomes guilty of the unforgivable sin, for so long as a man does not know good or evil, he cannot repent.

This explains why one cannot teach spiritual doctrine to the masses of Christianity. They have eaten the devil’s food for so long that they have no taste for God’s food anymore.

God used his prophets to announce the coming Day of the LORD to his people when they crossed a particular line in the sand. That line occurs when a society begins to call good “evil” and evil “good.” The United States crossed that line a long time ago.  Two dates come particularly to mind. The first was when the U.S. Supreme Court outlawed prayer in public schools in 1963.  The second was when the same court in 1973 legalized abortion in every state of the union. Christians remained largely silent on both occasions. They kept sending their kids to public schools and they began sending their daughters and wives to the abortionist’s butcher block.

God gave us many years to repent after those days now two generations ago, but we have not repented. Christians continue to flock to public schools (because they are free of course!) and to send their daughters for abortions. Today’s public school success rate is only 18 percent, but hey, “it’s free!” Our sons daughters learn all about every sort of sex there in mandated sex education programs and our daughters are sometimes even bussed from school for an abortion without a parents knowledge or consent, but hey, “it’s free!”

Now we have leaders of “Christian” schools singing the praises of abortion and homosexuality. How can this be? What has happened to the once Christian United States of America? Slowly we began to let sin creep into our lives, often through movies and television. We became tantalized by the beautiful women, handsome men, and romantic affairs. Then the affairs became more graphic.  We also began to support one lawless war after another, never bothering to win even one … Korea, Vietnam, Iraq (remember we left Saddam Hussein in power in 1991). We sent our girls and boys to die for meaningless conflicts in lands that have nothing to do with us. In the meantime we as a people developed a bloodlust. The movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre comes to mind although I never saw nor would see it. I don’t watch movies, so I really can’t list any more for you, but the title of this one alone reveals this truth and it has been a continuing hit with sequels for decades now. We as a people love illicit sex and blood. We are a fornicating, murdering people.

Of course, we don’t admit that. We pretend otherwise. We pretend we are upset with John Edwards for having an adulterous affair while he runs for President and we make his wife a feminist hero for not divorcing him. On the other hand we simply ignored all we knew about Teddy Kennedy’s affairs and idolized him. I just happened to mention two Democrats here, but Republicans are no better. Just do a little research into who Henry Kissinger is and what he is all about, or George H. W. Bush, or Dick Cheney. Capitalist big business is no better than Communist big business. It’s all about covetousness and money. And lust is lust and murder is murder.

But no one admits to these things. We hide behind our lies and say these bad things don’t happen, or, like Dean Ragsdale, we simply change the definition of things and say these things are not bad. Thus people like Ragsdale end up rejoicing and being blessed by abortion and homosexuality. They have inverted, perverted, and redefined God’s Law. They have called good “evil” and evil “good.” They can no longer repent for now they have nothing to repent of. Jesus says that these people have now become “unforgivable.”

Therefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come. (Matthew 12:31-32)

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of purity and perfection. If you do not believe what he says, if for example, you believe that murder (abortion) is good, then you have spoken against the Holy Spirit. If you believe that homosexuality is good, then you have spoken against the Holy Spirit. If you believe that fornication is good, then you have spoken against the Holy Spirit. For you truth does not exist because God (the Holy Spirit) is truth and you deny the truth that he speaks. Thus you cannot be forgiven because you cannot repent. You have nothing to repent of, do you?

When men reach this level of wickedness, the wickedness Sodom knew and the wickedness even Israel and Judah knew before each were destroyed, the Day of the LORD comes.

Hear you this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel [Christian Church]. The virgin of Israel [Christian Church - the destruction of Christ Church, New Zealand by earthquake was another sign of the Day of the LORD] has fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up. For thus says the Lord GOD; The city [the Christian Church always considered herself the Bride of Christ and the future resident of New Jerusalem, but she has sinned as did Jerusalem of old that destroyed in 70 AD for her crucifixion of Christ and murdering of Christians] that went out by a thousand shall have left a hundred, and that which went forth by a hundred shall have left ten, to the house of Israel Christian Church]. For thus says the LORD unto the house of Israel [Christian Church], Seek me, and you shall live: But seek not Bethel [Do not go back to you old ways, your Nicolaitan and Jezebel churches], nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nothing. [The era of the Christian Church is over. She is Mystery Babylon and you must come out of her] Seek the LORD, and you shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph [Epraim, son of Joseph, was the leading tribe in Israel so this also speaks of the Christian Church], and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.

[No God begins to explain why judgment must come, the calling of evil "good" and good "evil"] You who turn justice to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth, Seek him that makes the seven stars and Orion, and turns the shadow of death into the morning, and makes the day dark with night: that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name: That strengthens the plundered against the strong, so that the plundered shall come against the fortress. They hate him that rebukes in the gate, and they abhor him that speaks uprightly. Since therefore you tread upon the poor, and you take from him burdens of wheat: you have built houses of hewn stone, but you shall not dwell in them; you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink wine of them. For I know your manifold transgressions, and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, [nothing is done in government or big business without bribes] and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right. Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time. Seek good, and not evil, that you may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as you have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish justice in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph. (Amos 5:1-15)

Maybe, if we repent, the LORD will be gracious to us! But, we cannot repent if we call good “evil” and evil “good.” Thus the Day of the LORD must come … it has come. This is the Day of the LORD.

It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23 KJ2000)

Throughout Scripture God commands us to seek and walk in his way. What is his way? It is the way of mercy and truth. The ideas conveyed by these two words, mercy and truth,  express themselves in many synonyms in the Scriptures. For example, we see the ideas in various pairings of words translated  ”righteousness and justice,” “lovingkindness and faithfulness,”  and “grace and law.” Ultimately these conceptions mean the same thing. We see throughout history and through all of his written word that God sets these two concepts beside and against each other. In fact, we could call this epic battle between these two concepts “God’s dialectic.”

According to Wikipedia Dialectic (also called dialectics or the dialectical method) is a method of argument, which has been central to both Indic and European philosophy since ancient times. The word “dialectic” originates in Ancient Greece, and was made popular by Plato in his Socratic dialogues. Dialectic is based on a dialogue between two or more people who may hold differing views, yet wish to seek the truth of the matter through the exchange of their viewpoints while applying reason. ^[1]

If you have attempted to teach or talk about the relevance of God’s Law to modern day Christians you will understand what I am saying here. For twenty years in the churches I was always accused of being “legalistic.” But, I am not legalistic. I honor God’s Word, including his Old Testament which includes his Law. Throughout my Christian life I have endeavored to understand this mystery of the co-existence of Law and Grace.

When I went to Bible School from 1977 to 1979 I remember that my professors taught that grace is defined as “God’s unmerited favor.” They taught that we did not deserve to be loved and saved by God, but “by grace we are saved.”  Because of God’s “lovingkindness,” or “grace,” he sent Jesus to die for our sins and reconcile us to himself. We did not deserve it, but he did it. I was also taught, and rightly so, that no amount of my good works could ever purchase my salvation. “Strict adherence to the Law cannot save you!” they taught in so many words. And they were right, insofar as our spiritual salvation is concerned.

But, most of the Bible does not concern itself with this aspect of our salvation. Instead, it deals with what Paul calls the “working out of our salvation in fear and trembling.” The overemphasis of grace by modern teachers has undermined this aspect of salvation. They have taught grace to destruction of law. Now we live under “lawless grace” in our churches and every perversion is accepted and applauded in some Christian church somewhere because of it.

The second to last straw of my leaving the organized Christian church occurred in 1998 or 1999. My wife and I went to a popular charismatic church (the charismatic church en mass is the Church of Thyatira of Revelation 2).  There the church head pastor preached for an hour on the man caught picking up sticks on the Sabbath. His ultimate conclusion and teaching was that Moses was legalistic, just a man who lived under God’s Law instead of under his grace. In that one sermon this “man of God” destroyed two-thirds of God’s Bible. He did not understand God’s dialectic of mercy and truth, grace and law. (to be continued)

We live in the generation in which our sins and the sins of our fathers have found us out.  We can no longer hide from the results of our lies, our thefts, our murders, and our immoralities.  If there is any particular sin, then know that we ourselves, our fathers, our mothers, our friends, and our brothers have certainly committed it, and plan to do so again.  And we are all the time thinking up new ways to sin with body and brain. We live in a time of utter lawlessness.  No one can count on anyone doing the right or moral thing. From President to Congress to Supreme Court to teacher to car maker to plumber we all act lawlessly.  Just this week the Democrat chairman of America’s House of Representatives’ Rules Committee, Alcee Hastings, announced, “When the deal goes down, all this talk about rules, we make them up as we go along….” Didn’t you always think that Congress functioned by particular rules?  Now you know it doesn’t.  Today the power elite simply decide their outcome and make rules accordingly.  Welcome to the “real” world.

This explains why our nation pulled down its public displays of the Ten Commandments and why our churches no longer preach against sin.  For many, sin no longer exists because, they say, “Christ did away with sin.”  The very people who received God’s grace of forgiveness thus turned against him through profane acts of lawlessness, like supporting abortion on demand (wasn’t abortionist George Tiller executed in the very church which failed to excommunicate him?) and by ordaining practicing homosexuals and pro-abortion radicals to their ministries (what else would you call practicing lesbian and Dean of a “Christian” school, Katherine Ragsdale?).  Isaiah prophesied of these people, saying, “Let grace be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.” (Isaiah 26:10)

Our past several presidents, including Barack Obama, all represent judgment from God.  None have spoken out against the lawlessness and tyranny in our land.  None have put an end to the child-killing business of abortion.  None have supported laws to prohibit pornography and grossly violent movies and games.  None have encouraged the masses of thieves and lazy citizens to work and stop collecting welfare.  None have spoke openly for righteousness and God’s holiness and urged their nation to repent of their many sins!

God poured unlimited grace upon his people, especially in America.  We once lived in a Christian nation.  At one time we truly were a “land of uprightness,” but no more.  We turned grace into lawlessness and now all deal unjustly.  Indeed there is no justice in the land.

Many of us live in families where certain of our members have become very ill or have gotten into serious legal troubles.  Serious illness often comes from sexual permissiveness, illegal drug use, eating the wrong foods, drinking too much alcohol, or smoking too much tobacco.  Serious legal troubles often come from these same things plus stealing, lying, and other selfish behaviors.  Jeremiah says, “Have you not brought this unto yourself, in that you have forsaken the LORD your God, when he led you by the way?” (Jeremiah 2:17 KJ2000)

God makes us responsible for our problems.  He has taught us his ways, yet we continually refuse them and devise our own paths.  Jeremiah lived at that time when those paths had reached their end, or goal.  Today, we too live in the time when society’s, or Mystery Babylon’s, ways have reached their end.  The book of Jeremiah shows us exactly what we can expect barring some massive nationwide, perhaps worldwide, move of genuine repentance.

Following the above reprimand Jeremiah proclaims, ‘Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backslidings shall reprove you: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you, says the Lord GOD of hosts.” (Jeremiah 2:19 KJ2000)

This explains why great and profound judgments have begun to befall this once Christian nation.  And notice this, the judgments do not come from some supernatural source.  The judgments come from man himself.  We now live in a police state on the verge of ruining health care and intent upon bankrupting each one of us.  We beat the drums of war against all nations on earth.  How long until one, or more, beat those drums against us?  Then, be sure, our wickedness will have corrected us, for we shall be too busy nursing our wounds and burying our dead to fulfill our lusts.  Then, because we failed to mourn for our sin now, we will cry for the foul breath we breathed while time remained to heal our land.

I remember walking in a neighboring woods with a friend about seven years ago.  I remarked that the previous night I heard coyotes howling nearby.  I said, “They sounded unreal.”  He looked at me and said, “That’s interesting.  The Lord recently told me, `You don’t live in the real world.’”  What does this mean?

Things are not as they seem.   Propaganda continually blasts from our radios and television sets.  The government keeps our attention on foreign wars that mean nothing to us in order to keep our minds off of “the real world.”  Almost daily its airplanes paint the sky with chemtrails.  And what are the chemtrails for?  Mind control, weather control, immune system weakening, nanobots in our blood stream, morgellons disease, or global warming?  (By the way, if you research the issue you will see that once you finally open your eyes and BELIEVE they are the real, then the government will try to make you believe their purpose is benign and helpful.  What could be more helpful than stopping that bogey man Global Warming?)

And, of course, “climategate” does not exist.  It’s really those mean ol’ hackers that ought to be prosecuted, not the evil masters of the world who plan to extort your money by using a fraudulent scare tactic called global warming or climate change.

Speaking of bad guys, it’s only a matter of time until those who exposed ACORN’s fraudulent practices get bankrupted or prosecuted because of their hidden microphone, camera and subsequent expose of a corrupt government-financed organization.

And what about super secret weapons based upon HAARP and scalar technology which evidently cause earthquakes and tsunami?

Why is it that all of our presidents and many politicians want to dilute the Christian population of America with illegal aliens?  Why do they want to make all of us pay for health care that we don’ want, health care that won’t pay for your chiropractic visit, your naturalpathic visit, your vitamins, or your homeopathic remedies?  They’re happy to make us pay for “health care” that will pay someone to cut out our hearts and give us a mechanical one, but why won’t they help us get health care that will actually heal us?  Because they don’t want you well.  They can only control the sick, the dying, and those who believe they live in the real world.

What about the Christmas Day 2009 attempted bombing in Detroit?  Research that just a little bit and you will once again find government propaganda filled with disinformation. 

And public schools?  What are they teaching your kids there?  Ever wonder why your teenagers are rebellious and why everyone tells you to expect that?  Let me tell you something.  I have raised five children.  My oldest is 28 and my youngest is 16.  None of them are or ever have been rebellious, and they have all learned to think for themselves and obey God by themselves.  We didn’t expect them to be rebellious because we didn’t teach them to be.  Again, what are they teaching your children in the public schools?

Homosexual perversion is now a protected class in America.  Certain congressmen could not get an amendment passed that would specifically keep paedophiles from being protected too.  They teach your children how to have homosexual sex in your public schools.  Obama’s “safe” school czar specifically pushes this agenda.

Very regularly we now hear of Christian friends or their children joining Obama’s military.  What will they do when called upon to crush peaceful protesters like those in Pittsburgh a couple months ago?

Oh, and let’s not forget all the hype and propaganda about swine flu and our need for another immune-sickening vaccination.

We don’t live in the real world.  Wake up to this fact and repent that you have so long believed all the god-of-this-world’s lies and taken part in his plans by serving and working unthinkingly in his governments and corporations, helping to shape and push his agenda. 

“And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.  [18] But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ would suffer, he thus fulfilled.  [19] Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,  [20] that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,  [21] whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.  [22] Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you.  [23] And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet shall be destroyed from the people.’  [24] And all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who came after him, also proclaimed these days.  [25] You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’  [26] God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.”  Acts 3:17-26 (ESV) 

This passage promises a time of “restoring all things.”  I believe this time is upon us and that Jesus is about to be revealed and glorified in his people.  They will rule with a rod of iron and restore reality, truth, and justice to this broken and destroyed earth.

We have entered the day when many people cannot even speak their beliefs to another person without fear of losing their job, arrest, or some other sanction.  Of course, the only beliefs you cannot speak are those that are true.  The rebellious, the evil, the perverted, and the murderers do not want to be told they are wrong.  They want to be affirmed in their wickedness.  The day of their destruction is coming, yes it is coming, and sooner than they think.  Here is just one recent example: Man Fired for Saying Homosexual Marriage is Wrong

Those of you who know me know that I have been walking with our Lord Jesus since 1977.  From then until 1997 I was pretty much part of the Christian Church scene.  But, in 1997 God showed me that our Christian churches were an integral part of Mystery Babylon.  Most of us had committed spiritual adultery and were now sleeping with the world.  We did not bring the message of holiness, righteousness, and separation from sin to the world or even to our own congregations.  In fact, during much of the past twenty years, we have witnessed one news report after another telling us how prominent Christian ministers, including Catholics, regularly fornicate naturally in the world.  Thus some Christian churches even ordain practicing homosexuals to the ministry.  Much of the Christian witness during the past two thousand years has been poor, to say the least.  We have not exhibited the mind of Christ because we have forsaken his Law and indulged in idolatry.

I have actively proclaimed the Second Coming of Christ since 1998.  I actually expected his coming that year.  Since then I have witnessed the world fall into a depravity that I never thought possible.  Anyone with ears to hear and eyes to see can testify to the many signs of the end times now occurring that Jesus prophesied 2000 years ago.  Jesus told us that Satan was the ruler of this world, but how many of us actually saw the governments of the world plotting to enslave their own people as we do today?  Which of you has sent your child to public school and seen him or her come out demon possessed, drug possessed, sex possessed, or forever disfigured with piercings and tattoos?  Which of your children has lost the faith you thought you taught them?  Look at the signs!  Christ is coming again.  He is near, even at your door!

Yesterday my wife and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary.  God has blessed us with each other and with six wonderful children who walk with the Lord.   We celebrated by taking a canoe float on the Jack’s Fork River in south-central Missouri.  After the float we stayed in a cabin in Eminence and listened to the weather report.  “We,” said the weatherman, “are about to experience a significant rain event.”  She went on to say that we could expect 3 to 5 inches of rain, perhaps more, and flash flooding.  She said this type of rain was about a month early.  This has been a strange year, a wet, cool year.  A prophetic year.  Our governmental leaders want to pass new “global warming” laws that continue to tax us to death and we see an unprecedentedly cool year throughout most of the U.S.  We had the coolest summer on record in much of the country.  Chicago is about to experience its earliest snow storm.  We may get frost tonight in south-central Missouri and it is only October 9!

Today is the seventh day of the Biblical Feast of Tabernacles.  Tonight at sundown begins the eighth and greatest day of the feast.  As I write it is still raining.  Could these be the prophesied “latter rains?”  Is it finally time for the Church, God’s people, to begin to hear his Word and walk in his ways?  Look up, for your redemption is nigh!  Repent, for the Day of the LORD is surely at hand!  Do not be caught sleeping and so miss your reward.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain. Be also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws near. (James 5:7-8 KJ2000)
