Just before Jesus appeared in ministry upon the earth, John the Baptist preached saying, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2 KJ2000) John himself was that prophetic voice which Isaiah foretold when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.” (Matthew 3:3 KJ2000) Then, upon John’s arrest and the beginning of Jesus’ ministry He Himself proclaimed, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17 KJ2000)

These two men, John, the greatest man who had lived until the time of Jesus, and Jesus, who is God Himself, both told us how to prepare for the coming Kingdom of God. They said we must repent. These two men preached to Israel, a nation that knew the Law, God’s specific commands for living within his kingdom. They preached to men who thus knew the definition of sin and what to repent of. Paul, on the other hand, wrote to Romans who he called “Gentiles.” These were men of other nations than Israel or the Jews.

As Paul begins his discourse on repentance he starts with a short summary of common sins, acts which God’s Law forbids. He says,

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient, Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans 1:18-32, KJV)

Before we move on, please notice verse 32. Paul makes it clear that those who practice any of the sins listed before this “commit such things [as] are worthy of death.” Modern day Christianity has white-washed sin by declaring that many of these declared acts simply are not sins. Neither Paul nor any other true prophet of God ever teaches that God’s defined sins are not sins. We only hear such nonsense from leaders of Christian denominations who sold their birthright to Mystery Babylon. Such Christians and those who listen to them fail to repent because they believe they have nothing to repent of. These can never be accounted overcomers with God in this condition. They will not be allowed to enter New Jerusalem, the Kingdom of God, until they learn repentance.

Islam is not a peaceful religion.  Christianity generally is, but has not always been peaceful either.  Throughout history millions have died in the name of  countless fanatics’ “true” religion, whether Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism,  Communism, or even Democracy.  Religion that kills others to prove itself true is false religion.  It is Mystery Babylon, in whom lies the blood of the slain of all the earth.  But, the way of Jesus Christ is the way of peace, of loving even your enemy.

Begin to look at the skies.  If you will do this you will begin to notice that airplanes lay down “chemtrails” on a regular basis.  These are not “contrails.”  I know.  I have watched the planes spray them for many years, even in wilderness areas. The beast that you saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. (Revelation 17:8 KJ2000)

The beast that “was and is not” when John saw his vision now IS.  To see this, though, we must understand what Scripture means by a “beast.”  Daniel tells us in chapter 7 of his book.  There God gives him a vision of four successive beasts which would rule the world.  We know this for certain because Daniel asks this specific question of an angel standing nearby during his vision and the angel tells him, “These four beasts are four kings who shall arise out of the earth.” These four beasts, or kings, correspond to the four kingdoms described by Daniel when he interpreted the great image in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. See Daniel 2.  Almost all Biblical scholars and prophecy writers interpret these four kingdoms as being Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece, and Rome. The question is, what are the other three kingdoms, or four when you consider the beast that was and is not.

First, though, understand this. When the Bible speaks of a beast rising from the sea, it speaks of a government, a kingdom, arising from among men. Throughout the Scripture God consistently uses the word “sea” to describe mankind.  ”The roaring of the sea,” for example, describes man’s railing against God.  Therefore when John sees a beast “rising out of the sea” in Revelation 13 he does not mean that a monstrous literal beast will someday come up out of one of earth’s oceans. He paints a picture of man’s final world government forming itself from the children of men.

The Bible speaks of seven, even eight, world kingdoms. I believe they are, in order of appearance, these: 1) Babel, 2) Egypt, 3) Assyria, 4) Babylon, 5) Media-Persia, 6) Greece, 7) Rome, and 8) ?.

Man’s first kingdom began when all mankind came together to build a tower of might in the land of Shinar, the land of the Chaldeans, shortly after the great Flood. Here they established their first world government. Here they said, “Come, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis 11:4 KJ2000) Here they sought to set their throne above the Most-High and here God set the pattern for all future world kingdoms.

For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the farthest sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet you shall be brought down to sheol, to the sides of the pit. (Isaiah 14:13-15 KJ2000)

Men who refuse to submit to God will will instead work to raise themselves “above his throne.” This means that they become a law unto themselves and that they ultimately desire to sit as God in the throne of God. Such men are antichrist. Now that men publicly say they alone determine law, time, and reality, Paul’s prophecy is fulfilled and we know we have the reached the time of the Day of the LORD:

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come the falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 KJ2000)

Babel thus establishes this pattern with respect to the beast kingdoms which arise from the sea (mankind) throughout history. When we study the leaders of the succeeding kingdoms we always find that they wanted to be worshiped as “God.” This explains why God judged Nebuchadnezzar when he said, “Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by my mighty power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?” (Daniel 4:30 ESV)

So, what is the eighth kingdom of men? The angel told John, “As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to its destruction.” (Rev. 17:11 ESV) Understand, then, that the beast with seven heads we see in Revelation 13:1 and 17:3 speaks of all the beast kingdoms of men, from the Tower of Babel to the last kingdom of men. The eighth kingdom is one of the seven, but which? We do not have to speculate. Too many Christian teachers (and I include myself) have speculated often and we have harmed the credibility of Christ by doing so. He told us over and over again not to add to or take away from his written word. This word tells us the identity of the eighth kingdom.

Behold the land of the Chaldeans. This is the people that was not. (Is 23:13, ESV)

The “land of the Chaldeans” is the land of Babylon, the land of ancient Babel. John calls this kingdom a mystery and names her “Babylon the Great” in Revelation 17:5. She is man’s final kingdom. When John wrote his book she “was.” She had indeed been a kingdom in the past, but she “is not” while he lived. Yet, she would be again in the future. And, yes, she would be “of” the kingdoms which preceeded her. Thus “Mystery Babylon,” or “Babylon the Great” is the eighth and final kingdom of man which seeks to raise his throne above God’s. It is no coincidence that Babylon (Babel) appears as the first, middle (4th), and final kingdom of men on earth. Finally, we see there exist only six kingdoms in man’s history, for six is the number of man and antichrist man, known by God as 666, can never and will never ascend to or beyond the throne of God.

Continuing Secrecy by BP about the oil damage in the gulf.

Below are some comments and links on a new report on Drudge Report of June 2, 2010.  Almost from the beginning I have seen reports that stated that the rig fire and oil spill were deliberately caused.  It seems insane to me that a turn-off valve would not have been installed at the ocean floor “just in case.”  The main give-away that it may have been deliberately caused can be seen in Goldman Sachs shorting and selling BP stock just before the disaster.

A team from Schlumberger, which is highly regarded for their safety, asks a BP company man to use the Cement Bond Log (CBL) to dump fluid down the well and BP’s company man refused. Schlumberger rep decides to leave citing safety issues but only if they called in their own transport as BP rep would not let Schlumberger leave on a BP Chopper.

The Second Passover celebrated by King Hezekiah, Judah, and Israel in about 727 BC represents a time of rare spiritual revival among God’s people.  Hezekiah’s father and previous kings had led Israel on a long precipitious path to idolatry and destruction.  The situation in the northern kingdom of Israel was even worse.  Let’s look at the brief history of this important event.

And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel. For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month. For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem. And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation. So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beer-sheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it for a long time in the way in which it was written. So the runners went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, You children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria. And be not like your fathers, and like your brethren, who trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as you see. Now be you not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you. For if you turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return unto him. So the runners passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them. (2 Chronicles 30:1-10 KJ2000)

Remember from previous posts that the birthright name of Israel passed to Ephraim and that Ephraim and Manasseh prophetically point to, i.e. are types of, the Church.  We must understand that today’s Church stands spiritually as did Ephraim and Manasseh in those days just before Assyria destroyed Israel, killing many and deporting the rest to foreign lands around the world.*  Notice Hezekiah appealed to these people to repent of the many sins which had led to their destructions at the hands of the Assyrians.  He pleaded with them to bend their necks to God’s yoke and come back to his sanctuary in Jerusalem.  If they would but serve the LORD, he said, then God’s wrath would turn from them.

But the countryside of Ephraim, Manasseh, and all Israel laughed Hezekiah’s messengers “to scorn.”  Nevertheless, we do see in verses 11 and 18 that some of the people from the northern kingdom did respond to the invitation.  The vast majority of Israel, however, stayed at home, stayed at home to be utterly destroyed and deported by Assyria a mere six years later.  What do these things mean for us today?  I will simply make a suggestion for I cannot say, “thus says the LORD.”

Second Passover represents the final “revival” of God’s people prior to Armageddon, the great battle on the Day of the LORD.  This day, I believe, is when the harlot Mystery Babylon, suffers the fate we see in Revelation 17-18.  As we saw earlier in this series and elsewhere, I believe Mystery Babylon to be the apostate church throughout the ages and especially today.  The overcomers, God’s faithful believers, have always been called out of the established church.  They have always dwelt “outside the camp” as did Moses.  The church, represented by the Northern Kingdom of Israel, by and large refuses to come out of their false religious clubs, but some do.  Those who do come out consecrate themselves to God and begin to obey him by practicing righteousness.  Even those who come out late, just before the end, become consecrated by the prayers of the faithful.

Second Passover is a feast for those who know they have touched a dead body, their own, who know that the flesh counts for nothing, who know that they cannot perfect in the flesh what they began in the Spirit.  These practice righteousness by confessing and repenting of their sins.  Second Passover remains for these who await the man who went on a far journey, Jesus, who will return to claim his own.  (Remember, this is the reason Second Passover must be observed according to Number 9:6-12)

Today begins the eight day feast of Second Passover this year 2010.  Today I am baking my lamb (for dinner because I like it!) and remembering my God.

* Note: Most of them went into lands north and eventually traveled over the Caucasus Mountains into Russia, Europe, and beyond.  These people became the primary ones who later received the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Most Christian people still belong to these nations which were formed from the northern Israelite tribes.  Today must people simpy refer to them as the “lost tribes of Israel.”  But, they are the Celts, English, Irish, Scottish, German, French, Italians and others who established Europe and North America.

But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out. (Numbers 32:23 KJ2000)

We live in the generation in which our sins and the sins of our fathers have found us out.  We can no longer hide from the results of our lies, our thefts, our murders, and our immoralities.  If there is any particular sin, then know that we ourselves, our fathers, our mothers, our friends, and our brothers have certainly committed it, and plan to do so again.  And we are all the time thinking up new ways to sin with body and brain. We live in a time of utter lawlessness.  No one can count on anyone doing the right or moral thing. From President to Congress to Supreme Court to teacher to car maker to plumber we all act lawlessly.  Just this week the Democrat chairman of America’s House of Representatives’ Rules Committee, Alcee Hastings, announced, “When the deal goes down, all this talk about rules, we make them up as we go along….” Didn’t you always think that Congress functioned by particular rules?  Now you know it doesn’t.  Today the power elite simply decide their outcome and make rules accordingly.  Welcome to the “real” world.

This explains why our nation pulled down its public displays of the Ten Commandments and why our churches no longer preach against sin.  For many, sin no longer exists because, they say, “Christ did away with sin.”  The very people who received God’s grace of forgiveness thus turned against him through profane acts of lawlessness, like supporting abortion on demand (wasn’t abortionist George Tiller executed in the very church which failed to excommunicate him?) and by ordaining practicing homosexuals and pro-abortion radicals to their ministries (what else would you call practicing lesbian and Dean of a “Christian” school, Katherine Ragsdale?).  Isaiah prophesied of these people, saying, “Let grace be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.” (Isaiah 26:10)

Our past several presidents, including Barack Obama, all represent judgment from God.  None have spoken out against the lawlessness and tyranny in our land.  None have put an end to the child-killing business of abortion.  None have supported laws to prohibit pornography and grossly violent movies and games.  None have encouraged the masses of thieves and lazy citizens to work and stop collecting welfare.  None have spoke openly for righteousness and God’s holiness and urged their nation to repent of their many sins!

God poured unlimited grace upon his people, especially in America.  We once lived in a Christian nation.  At one time we truly were a “land of uprightness,” but no more.  We turned grace into lawlessness and now all deal unjustly.  Indeed there is no justice in the land.

Many of us live in families where certain of our members have become very ill or have gotten into serious legal troubles.  Serious illness often comes from sexual permissiveness, illegal drug use, eating the wrong foods, drinking too much alcohol, or smoking too much tobacco.  Serious legal troubles often come from these same things plus stealing, lying, and other selfish behaviors.  Jeremiah says, “Have you not brought this unto yourself, in that you have forsaken the LORD your God, when he led you by the way?” (Jeremiah 2:17 KJ2000)

God makes us responsible for our problems.  He has taught us his ways, yet we continually refuse them and devise our own paths.  Jeremiah lived at that time when those paths had reached their end, or goal.  Today, we too live in the time when society’s, or Mystery Babylon’s, ways have reached their end.  The book of Jeremiah shows us exactly what we can expect barring some massive nationwide, perhaps worldwide, move of genuine repentance.

Following the above reprimand Jeremiah proclaims, ‘Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backslidings shall reprove you: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you, says the Lord GOD of hosts.” (Jeremiah 2:19 KJ2000)

This explains why great and profound judgments have begun to befall this once Christian nation.  And notice this, the judgments do not come from some supernatural source.  The judgments come from man himself.  We now live in a police state on the verge of ruining health care and intent upon bankrupting each one of us.  We beat the drums of war against all nations on earth.  How long until one, or more, beat those drums against us?  Then, be sure, our wickedness will have corrected us, for we shall be too busy nursing our wounds and burying our dead to fulfill our lusts.  Then, because we failed to mourn for our sin now, we will cry for the foul breath we breathed while time remained to heal our land.

Do I believe in conspiracy theories?  Me?  Are you nuts?  What else can explain those chemtrails being put down by planes every day before it rains?  What else explains the fact that President Obama follows exactly the same political agenda as did George W. Bush, who followed in the same steps as Bill Clinton, who walked down George H. W. Bush’s path, who himself was the vice-president of Ronald Reagan?

Are you a Democrat or a Republican?  When you boil it down it makes no difference because neither party rules from the perspective of righteousness.  If the Republicans did, as they say they do, then abortion would have long ago become illegal in America.  In fact, it became legal during a Republican presidency and Republicans carefully picked Supreme Court justices who would keep it so, but always in a 5-4 balance so as to make it seem that something was being done.  It has kept us on the edge of our seats, has it not?  It has also kept thousands of pro-life Christian robots manning the Republican get-out-the-vote machine.  Well, we felt like we were doing something.

Conspiracy theories?  Of course. Satan has always conspired to rule this world under a one-world government with his son, the antichrist, as its head. But, God has another plan. Are you part of it?
