Listen to me, O coastlands,
and give attention, you peoples from afar.
The Lord called me from the womb,
from the body of my mother he named my name.
2 He made my mouth like a sharp sword;
in the shadow of his hand he hid me;
he made me a polished arrow;
in his quiver he hid me away.
3 And he said to me, “You are my servant,
Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”[a]
4 But I said, “I have labored in vain;
    I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity;
yet surely my right is with the Lord,
    and my recompense with my God.”

[Above the Bride laments that she has not brought salvation to the earth, only wind, only words. She labored in vain. She sees the world crumbling around her and knows she is powerless to do anything about it. Now she lies down exhausted with nothing to show for her years of hard work.]

[In a mystery the barren bride also represents the firstfruit sons of God. These sons come out of the bride according to Revelation 12:1-6. We see in Revelation 12:6, however, that not all of those counted as part of the bride take part in this firstfruits resurrection. I believe “the preserved of Israel” in the following passage speak of that part of the bride which flees to the wilderness. The manifested sons of God will then protect and feed her there. This feeding will certainly consist of spiritual food for she must learn to walk in God’s ways to an extent greater than she has ever known before. The feeding will probably also include physical food for this is also the time when no one can buy or sell food unless they take the mark of the beast. This mark has been with us from the beginning and has always impacted God’s people in a spiritual and even physically tangible sense, but that was a spiritual mark only. The coming Satanic persecution will likely require an actual physical mark and if those who remain on the earth will not take it, then they will not be able to buy and sell food in a governmentally approved way. We already see this coming into place with the impact on the world from geo-engineering (chemtrails) and genetically modified organisms. I believe the sons of God will be revealed just at the time when Satan fully establishes his world empire and it will be their presence and power which allows any Christian believer to survive the coming holocaust.]

5 And now the Lord says,
he who formed me from the womb to be his servant,
to bring Jacob back to him;
and that Israel might be gathered to him—
for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord,
and my God has become my strength—
6 he says:
“It is too light a thing that you should be my servant
to raise up the tribes of Jacob
and to bring back the preserved of Israel;
I will make you as a light for the nations,
that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

[Traditional Christian doctrine teaches that the above passage relates to Jesus Christ alone. When we understand more of the doctrine of Immanuel we see that this also includes the manifested sons of God who become, like Jesus, Immanuel which means “God with us.” Just as a fully grown man is like his father, so a fully mature son of God is like his Father.]

7 Thus says the Lord,
the Redeemer of Israel and his Holy One,
to one deeply despised, abhorred by the nation,
the servant of rulers:
“Kings shall see and arise;
princes, and they shall prostrate themselves;
because of the Lord, who is faithful,
the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”

[The world has always hated the Overcomers and has persecuted them at all times in history by killing them and by keeping them from making good livings from their work. Read Hebrews 11 for a brief overview of the world’s treatment of God’s faithful people.]

8 Thus says the Lord:
“In a time of favor I have answered you;
in a day of salvation I have helped you;
I will keep you and give you
as a covenant to the people,
to establish the land,
to apportion the desolate heritages,
9 saying to the prisoners, ‘Come out,’
to those who are in darkness, ‘Appear.’
They shall feed along the ways;
on all bare heights shall be their pasture;
10 they shall not hunger or thirst,
neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them,
for he who has pity on them will lead them,
and by springs of water will guide them.
11 And I will make all my mountains a road,
and my highways shall be raised up.
12 Behold, these shall come from afar,
and behold, these from the north and from the west,[b]
and these from the land of Syene.”[c] (Isaiah 49:1-12 ESV)

When Jesus returns to the earth as pictured in Revelation 19 he returns with all of his holy ones. These are God’s overcomers, the manifested sons of God. Not only will they protect and feed the remaining faithful people of God, the bride of Christ, during the great tribulation. They will also fight the demonic host and destroy Satan’s dominion in the earth. After they do this they will begin to rule the world in righteousness. They will rebuild God’s ancient foundations of true government, which was disrupted at the time of Satan’s rebellion, and bring the remaining people on earth into a right relationship with God.
