We live in unprecedented times, times when every Satanic plan has come into fruition in an attempt to destroy men’s faith in God and his son, Jesus Christ. Some of these plans take overt shape, such as Muslim extremists killing Christians and destroying ancient churches in the Middle East, or United States courts regularly declaring every expression of Christianity in the public square illegal. Other plans appear even more insidious for they go to the very root of Christian faith. I speak now of the many writers who claim they have “awakened” to tyrannical government power and thus “attempt” to awaken others. Among these I have seen a common teaching which claims that we humans were genetically modified or mentally controlled by “aliens” who came to earth millions of years ago. Many writers claim to have personal or inside information about specific wars between good aliens and bad aliens. It is the bad aliens, according to them, who have always controlled the evil elite who rule the world and want to enslave the rest of mankind. An integral part of this teaching is that Christianity and the Bible itself are mere inventions of these wicked aliens and rulers. Religions, they claim, and especially Christianity were invented to enslave the human race and keep them from “awakening.”

At least two profound truths prove that these “awakened” teachers’ doctrines lie about the truth of Christianity. First, consider that Christianity is always the one religion disparaged by most cultures, political philosophies, other religions, and secret organizations. C. S. Lewis mentions this in his profound dystopia That Hideous Strength. In that book the leaders of a fictitious organization bent on ruling the world initiate people into their inner circle by demanding that they desecrate a Christian religious symbol. Evidently Lewis got this idea from rumors or testimonies that certain organizations then existing required a similar act in order to advance to the higher levels of “power.” I have personally read of and heard of secret societies which require this for advancement. Also remember that communist Karl Marx called religion the “opiate of the people.” Then when implementing this heinous philosophy the Soviet Union and Eastern European nations proceeded to kill Christians, destroy the established Christian churches, and forbid Bibles in their lands. Now in America we see every philosophy and religion except Christianity exalted and praised. In essence America has declared war upon Christianity. Laws and judges today forbid Christians from exercising their freedom of religion and actually force them to condone, approve, and even work for others whom Christians believe act sinfully. Some Christians have lost their income and businesses, for example, because they would not work for homosexual customers.

The second truth which betrays the grand deception of the “awakened” ones is that all of them denigrate, derogate, and abrogate God’s Law. They love to parade around as persons of light and right, but will always evade giving you actual definitions of right and wrong. So, for example, you will likely find these so-called enlightened ones embracing abortion rights, homosexual rights, and fornication rights. God’s Word, on the other hand, clearly defines all three of these actions as sinful. God gave us his Word for several reasons and one main goal of Biblical doctrine was to teach man the difference between good and evil and to encourage him to choose the good instead of the evil. All who study God’s Word know that the precepts found there establish stable societies. What society could exist without enforcing such laws as do not kill and do not steal? Likewise we see that the similar commands of do not fornicate, do not lie, and do not covet serve to protect and keep a healthy people. These five laws, the last five of the Ten Commandments, instruct individuals concerning their person to person responsibilities.

The first five of the Ten Commandments, on the other hand, teach people how to relate to God. They are:

3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God,visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands[b] of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. (Exodus 20:3-12 ESV)

Rousas John Rushdooney shows in his great book The Institutes of Biblical Law that each one of God’s laws announced to Israel after the pronouncement of the Ten Commandments actually expounds upon at least one of those ten. Rushdooney then makes the point that these laws together form the basis of a sound and secure civil society. My own experience attests to this truth. I remember that as a small child fifty years ago I used to walk almost a mile to school and rode my bike to Grandma’s house two miles away or even into downtown (on the sidewalks and once in the middle of the highway!) which was a full mile from my house. No one feared that I might be kidnapped or raped by some pervert. Those things just didn’t happen in those days. But, now after fifty plus years of constant legal and social attack against the legal foundations of Christianity which formed the basis of our civilization, we see the entire moral infrastructure of society shattered and in pieces. No one feels safe anymore. No one know who may do what to whom when.  As David prophesied, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)

Thus by these two truths alone we know that the “awakened” and “enlightened” pronouncements that Christianity is false simply spew Satan’s lies. We have entered Armageddon’s end game.  The Battle of Armageddon is the battle for your mind, your soul, your life.   Hold on to your faith that Jesus IS the Son of God and that he will deliver you from all evil. Only by doing this will you ultimately save your soul.
