When contemplating the mystery of Babylon the Great one must realize that many Old Testament prophets received revelation concerning her. We cannot simply read John’s Book of Revelation and think that we can fully understand the mystery. R. A. Coombes ably and accurately taught that chapters 13, 14, 46, and 47 of Isaiah and chapters 50 and 51 of Jeremiah, as well as other important Scriptures all prophesy concerning end-time Babylon the Great. Please see my last two posts for links to his work. Coombes himself was a linguistic scholar who understood underlying nuances of the original Biblical languages. He used this knowledge to bring light to obscure passages. I do not think that one must be a Hebrew or Greek language expert in order to reach his major conclusions, however. I had come to virtually all of the same understanding before I found his work just two days ago. I had been diligently praying for more revelation about this matter and God led me to Coombes’ work. I believe God meant that work to be a double witness to what the Holy Spirit had been independently teaching me from his Word.

Surely anyone awake to the working of God in their lives and in the world sees the many signs pointing to imminent judgment upon mankind. If you keep up with national and world news by looking at alternative news sources, then you know what I mean. Beware. If you only get your news from mainstream news sources, then you only hear what Babylon the Great wants you to hear. She controls the news print and the air waves. I suggest that you look up news sites posted by Alex Jones, Steve Quayle, and Stan Deyo among many others. I have found that the mainstream media rarely, if ever, reports the news Jones, Quayle, and Deyo routinely publish. If they do their publication often comes months, or even years, later.

I say this because I now stand convinced that Babylon America has now passed the point of healing. She will not repent. She cannot be healed. She moves steadily day by day into ever greater evil and tyranny against her own people. Thanks to Edward Snowden’s revelations the NSA (National Security Administration) has spied on and keeps records of every single American. The NSA, which is not our military charged with protecting our country, has purchased billions of bullets. Who are those bullets for? FEMA camps wait ready for multitudes across our land. Reports of foreign troops throughout our country abound. What are they here for? What event are they waiting for? The current administration does not enforce border security except against its own people. Why not?

Many Christians still call for political activity to right the many wrongs they see, as if strong Christians in government could actually change anything. They quote the famous maxim supposedly uttered by Edmund Burke, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” Don’t they see that evil has already triumphed and now rules the earth? Don’t they understand that this, in fact, is and has always been God’s plan? Daniel wrote,

5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on this bank of the stream and one on that bank of the stream. 6 And someone said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,[b] “How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?”7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished. 8 I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?” 9 He said,“Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.10 Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand. (Daniel 12:5-10 ESV)

Society only exists because holy people have lived and given their lives that others might live. Now we see society failing because the power of the holy people has been shattered. Do not fool yourself. You cannot change the direction of society’s fall. If you try you will only be destroyed or consumed by Babylon. Babylon has made her bed. She sits on the beast. She has chosen to become one with Satan instead of one with God. God prophesied this through his holy people thousands of years ago. He said it. We cannot change it.

God does not plan to extend Babylon’s rule any longer. The time for her judgment has come. Let us come into agreement with God’s plan, not our own plans for continual prosperity in these United States. Those days have come to an end. Remember, “Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.”

Finally, understand this,

“Flee from the midst of Babylon;
    let every one save his life!
Be not cut off in her punishment,
    for this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance,
    the repayment he is rendering her.
7 Babylon was a golden cup in the Lord’s hand,
    making all the earth drunken;
the nations drank of her wine;
    therefore the nations went mad.
8 Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken;
    wail for her!
Take balm for her pain;
    perhaps she may be healed.
9 We would have healed Babylon,
    but she was not healed.
Forsake her, and let us go
    each to his own country,
for her judgment has reached up to heaven
    and has been lifted up even to the skies.
10 The Lord has brought about our vindication;
    come, let us declare in Zion
    the work of the Lord our God. (Isaiah 51:6-10)

The time has come for us to go to our own country, even unto Zion. Are you wearing your white, linen garments?
