We live in perilous times, end times. We live in days when the wicked seek the lives of the righteous and when the rulers of this world actively work to harm their own citizens through treachery and treason. Make no mistake. Awake. We live in the end times. But, even so, the LORD does not call us to attempt to overthrow the powers that be by force of arms in revolution. He who lives by the sword dies by the sword. God established this principle. So do not rush out to buy weapons of war. Then the enemy has you in his hands to do with as he will. The LORD works in a different way than by the arm of man’s strength:
He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the most High, your habitation; There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. (Psalms 91:1-10 KJ2000)
Today many deceivers have gone out into the world proclaiming that they are the Christ, or they are the way to God. Do not believe every spirit. If you have not yet learned to know the voice of the LORD, then get to know it now. Write me. Or talk to others that you trust, that you know follow the One True God, Jesus Christ. The end of this age is at hand. Evil is afoot. Be alert. Watch. Pray. Read your Bible. If you are one of God’s you WILL hear His voice!
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spoke Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spoke unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. But he that is a hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep. The hireling flees, because he is a hireling, and cares not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. (John 10:1-16 KJ2000) Part 3
