The amount of propaganda aimed at Americans startles the imagination. And this propaganda is not limited to just left-leaning sources like the Democrat-led White House, congress, or mainstream media. It also emanates from illustrious conservative icons like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity who call themselves Republicans.
People really must get hold of this truth. The powers that be, whether they pretend to hold to the left or the right of the political spectrum, constantly spew forth an agenda to keep the people agitated and angry with groups that don’t fit into their particular club. Philosophers call this the “Hegelian dialectic.” The idea is to present vastly opposing ideas on both sides of an issue and then “compromise” to a solution that the rulers wanted all along. Conservatives have fallen for this ruse for decades, particularly in their “great” leader Ronald Reagan, but also in their “cowboy” hero George W. Bush. Liberals fall for the trick in electing their heros as well.
Yesterday (November 17, 2009), for example, Rush Limbaugh hosted a contrived caller who identified herself as a “former feminazi.” She gushed the typical “I love Reagan, I love Bush” party line and ended with “every woman really wants a cowboy,” to which Limbaugh heartily agreed and volunteered George W. Bush as our last shining example of such a cowboy. Prior to that he hosted Sarah Palin for half an hour in his effort to push her onto conservatives as their next best hope for President. It was all propaganda. Rush Limbaugh never speaks one word about what is really going on around us and to us. Has he mentioned the financial conspiracy that rapes our people, the swine flu debacle that continues its farcical course into our lives, or the police state mentality that abused peaceful protesters at the recent G-20 summit in Pittsburgh? If you carefully listen to Rush, you will see that his highest goals are unchecked capitalism with its lawless freedom to get rich and his “glorious naked body.”
Sean Hannity hits me as being even more in the pocket of the PTB than Rush. No one gushes over Ronald Reagan more than Sean. Never mind that Reagan accomplished nothing for truly righteous ends. And, Sean cannot bear to hear an opposing voice. He shouts down any opponent in seconds and consigns them to radio oblivion. Then, of course, there is FOX News, another puppet of the PTB and their propaganda.
On the other hand, consider the left’s flagship of State, National Public Radio. They produce a never-ending stream of propaganda designed to convince us of global warming, the necessity of getting a swine flu vaccine, the need for total health care reform, and the glory of our illustrious leader, Barack Obama. I no longer watch TV so I don’t get to hear the same mantra from ABC, CBS, MSNBC, or CNN. Just today on NPR I heard the State’s latest lies for limiting and controlling all water sources in the United States. The speaker had the audacity to say that all parts of the U.S. needed stringent controls. Stringent controls? Have you seen the Midwest lately? Our aquifers are full, our rivers are overflowing, and our ground is so wet we cannot even get the crops out of the field. And, you want to control our water? (“Yes,” they answer, “we want to build huge pipelines to California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorada and take it all!”)
The bottom line is that if you want to know the truth, then you have to step outside of the box. You have to look to other sources which, fortunately, can be found on the Internet. But, here on the Internet, you have to be wary as a fox. Many psyops and dis-informants lurk to capture the unaware. This means that you have to think, you have to use that God-given thing we call the brain in order to sort through the true and false and to discern the true.
Don’t get sucked into the right’s call for a revolution against the government or the government’s endless wars against all the nations of earth. Don’t fall for the left’s call for ever more control over every aspect of our lives. Stop believing the lie and seek the truth for yourself.
