The Scriptures teach that Jesus Christ himself represents man’s true food. The Book of Hebrews makes this very clear in the following passage:
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9 Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them.10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. 12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. 13 Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured. 14 For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. 15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. 16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. (Hebrews 13:8-16 ESV)
This tells us that anyone who eats from the altar upon which Jesus Christ was sacrificed, who eat the body and blood of Jesus, will then walk in truth and not be led away by diverse and strange doctrines. Jesus spoke about this in John 6, but remember, according to John 6:63 Jesus said, “The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” This means that we do literally eat the Messiah’s flesh and blood. We eat his truth, his ways, his spiritual reality. So long as we set our minds upon this we will not partake of diverse and strange teachings for Jesus himself, according to his promise, will lead us into all truth.
So, each day let us stand before his altar and let us partake of him. Let us be diligent to read his Word wherein we will hear the very words of God speak to our souls, digest them as we digest our daily bread, and assimilate his truth into our very being. I was reminded of this this very morning as I read Psalm 104, a wonderful psalm which promises that God will provide food to all his creation according to their need and in perfect timing. Faithfully, then, stand watch each day and listen for what God will say to you and have you do so that when he comes you be found doing only that which you see your Father in heaven doing.

104 Bless the Lord, O my soul!
O Lord my God, you are very great!
You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
2 covering yourself with light as with a garment,
stretching out the heavens like a tent.
3 He lays the beams of his chambers on the waters;
he makes the clouds his chariot;
he rides on the wings of the wind;
4 he makes his messengers winds,
his ministers a flaming fire.
5 He set the earth on its foundations,
so that it should never be moved.
6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
the waters stood above the mountains.
7 At your rebuke they fled;
at the sound of your thunder they took to flight.
8 The mountains rose, the valleys sank down
to the place that you appointed for them.
9 You set a boundary that they may not pass,
so that they might not again cover the earth.
10 You make springs gush forth in the valleys;
they flow between the hills;
11 they give drink to every beast of the field;
the wild donkeys quench their thirst.

13 From your lofty abode you water the mountains;
