Dane and I ask all of you in the military, in business, in government, in education, in politics “what is keeping you from taking a stand for the common good?” As Dane says, “the hourglass is almost empty. Your paycheck and your pension won’t do you any good.” I agree. It’s time to ask why you are here and what you can do to help. Don’t obey lawlessness and don’t obey orders based upon lawlessness.

The goal of these writings is to “make your calling and election sure” (2 Peter 1:10) and to prepare you to become a member of “the Church of the Firstborn” (Hebrews 12:23), the Church of the Overcomers. Don’t expect to “go to heaven” just because you have made a declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. Every person must finally become an overcomer before he may enter New Jerusalem, the home that Christ has prepared for us.
