Revelation 17:1
And there came one of the seven angels that had the seven bowls, and spoke with me, saying, Come hither, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot that sits upon many waters;

And there came one of the seven angels that had the
seven (Perfect) bowls, (Temple vessels, A Shallow cup,)
and spoke with me, saying, Come hither, I will show you the judgment (God’s way of thinking; to show all that is not of Him; to remove the confusion and evil that does not line up with His word; to expose pride.)
Isaiah 28:1;
Woe to the crown (Thinking) of pride of the drunkards (What we drink into our thinking) of Ephraim,(Hebrew word #669, Ephrayim: Ephraim meaning: double ash-heap: “I shall be doubly fruitful”) and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, (When we walked with God in fellowship, before the fall from Grace) which is at the head of the fertile valley of those who are overcome (Hebrew word # 1986, Halam: meaning: to beat, smite, strike, hammer, strike down) with wine!
Remember, we have to be broken.
Isaiah 10:22
Only a remnant within them will return; A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.
Our destruction takes place when we start to practice righteousness and walk in the Spiritual. We can begin to do this when we see that we ourselves, each one of us, are the abomination of desolation. Each of us is desolate without Jesus as Lord on the throne of our lives. (Lord of our thinking) A destruction speaks of destruction of the old self and his bestial thinking. The result is thinking overflowing with His Righteousness which happens when we give up the rule of our lives and return the throne of our lives back to Jesus.
I Corinthians 11:31;
For if we would judge ourselves rightly, (Righteously, correctly) we would not be judged.
of the great harlot (One who lives in and for the flesh. Everyone in the Church built with hands. These are spiritual adulterers, people who are saved by grace but go backwards. They will receive no reward and are backslidden into carnality and try to please God with their own efforts and thoughts, but only end up provoking Him to anger by the works of their hands. Those who do not realize that they are practicing lawlessness, Galatians 3:1-3;]) (Note: Revelation 8:6) [Zedek’s note: FB believes that the harlot includes only backslidden Christians. I believe that she includes all people who are not practicing righteousness, but do agree that her primary manifestation is religious. I think that she includes all religions except the religion of pure Christianity which alone practices righteousness. The beast that she rides also includes all men that do not practice righteousness, but the beast reveals itself as governmental power which attacks religious power in Revelation 17 and 18. This represents the classic kingdom divided against itself which cannot stand.]
II Kings 22:17;
Because they have forsaken Me and have burned incense to other gods (Self on the throne.) that they might provoke Me to anger with the work of their hands, (Temporal power of our own works) therefore My wrath burns against this place, (Church built with hands.) and it shall not be quenched.
She (The Harlot Church built with hands.) seduces us by our flesh by deceiving us to try to please God through the works of our own efforts. Those who are one with the Harlot are walking in the carnal and are backslidden from walking in the Light.
that sits upon many waters; (People, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Sea of Mankind) (Note: Revelation 1;15; 7:17; 8:10,11; 11:6; 14:2,7; 16:4,5; 17:11,15; 19:6.)
Revelation 17:2
with whom the kings of the earth committed immorality, and they that dwell in the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality.

of the earth (Earthly thinking)
committed immorality, (Spiritual Adultery; Connected themselves to the Harlot and became one with her by the flesh)
and they that dwell in the earth (All)
were made drunk (Deceived and distorted thinking from the Truth. Intoxicated, dazed and confused)
with the wine (Deceived, by the intoxication of what we drank into our thinking, in this case Satan’s counterfeit of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.) (NOTE: Revelation 18:6)
Jeremiah 51:7;
Babylon has been a golden cup in the Lord’s hand, intoxicating all the earth: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are going mad.
Jeremiah 51:57;
And I will make her (Harlot Babylon) wise men (Those who think they know the Truth.) drunk, (Dazed and confused) her princes and her governors and her deputies, and her mighty men; (Her priest and prophets, pastors, teachers and deacons.) that they may sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake up, (Spiritually dead; Note: Revelation 3:2,3;) says the King, whose name is the Lord of hosts.
Isaiah 28:7;
And even these reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink; (Deceived, by the intoxication of what we drank into our thinking, Satan’s counterfeit of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.) the priest (Shepherds who do not shepherd, Jeremiah 23:1) and the prophet (False prophet. [Jeremiah 23:16; Thus says the Lord of hosts, do not listen to the words of the (False) prophets that prophesy to you: they teach you vanity;(Pride) they speak a vision of their own imagination, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.]) reel with strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they stagger with strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
of her immorality. (Spiritual adultery, by becoming one with this Harlot’s flesh and therefore her thinking, which is Satanic, for she is one with the devil; to permit oneself to be drawn away by another into idolatry.) (Note: Revelation 2:21,22; 6:6; 9:2,10.) And
