What people consider to be “the rapture” is really the “glorification” if the saints. Most Christians believe this is for everyone who simply believes in Jesus Christ? Is it?

The goal of these writings is to “make your calling and election sure” (2 Peter 1:10) and to prepare you to become a member of “the Church of the Firstborn” (Hebrews 12:23), the Church of the Overcomers. Don’t expect to “go to heaven” just because you have made a declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. Every person must finally become an overcomer before he may enter New Jerusalem, the home that Christ has prepared for us.
